So, I know that I've spoken to some of you, but this has been an extremely difficult winter for me. A week before Christmas and Christmas Eve, I lost an aunt, an uncle, and my best buddy- my papaw. And as of this week and last, both of my grandparents on my mom's side are in the hospital ill. While I was trying to deal with the loss of family members, I am now trying to deal with the possibility that I might lose another. On top of all of this, life hasn't slowed down for me. I'm still trying to maintain a job and a sliver of a social life a midst all of the chaos that has ensued. I am around, trust me, I have become a professional lurker. Gambit and Riisa are also two of my best friends and we've been in touch. They, too, have been going through their own little battles. Winter just kind of blows.
As for not being around as much, I really am sorry ]: Sometimes real life gets crazy and there's nothing we can do about it. Luckily, I've had a lot of time off this week. I'm going to try to be around more and more as things gradually start to get (hopefully) better. I just thought that I owed you all an explanation. <3
