` EDEN DAVIES:  Ran after celebrities? That didn't seem like much fun. Why were girls so reckless? Did they really think that stalking would land them a man? No, that's how you land a big fat restraining order. She couldn't imagine ever being in the spotlight like that...being stalking and crap. Guys were always taller and scarier than women. She supposed that female celebrities actually had it worse. It would suck either way to have no privacy. "I, uh, don't mind not finding out what that's like, actually. I'll stick to healing." LOSER. L-O-S-E-R. They seemed like total opposites. He thrived in the limelight and she tried to hide. Of course, if she ever dated someone like him, she'd obviously support them. But that thought was almost laughable. He would never consider her his type. Nor would most men. She was too...intelligent? Independent? Guys seemed to like brain dead bimbos. Gag. Eden laughed at his description of her. "I had more than one drink, thanks, I was just a bit...um...awkward, I guess." She blushed vibrantly against her fair skin. Jesus. She felt like an idiot. Great...the ex had been brought up. Taking a long drink, she looked at her hand resting against the icepack. "Well, we dated for about a year...he started to get kind of violent...controlling. That shove against the wall wasn't anything, trust me." She was ashamed to admit that she had been in that kind of relationship. It was so unlike her. "So, yeah. We've been broken up for months, now, but he won't really leave me alone. Hopefully he will, now." Taking another drink, she looked over at him. "So, are you the dating type, or was that you downstairs being a player?" She didn't really hold back...and she didn't mean to sound rude if that's how she came off. She was just curious. She literally hadn't seen him since he graduated, except for in the paper and things like that.

` EDEN DAVIES: Eden laughed at James' drunken comment. He didn't seem so bad, after all. All of that "don't judge a book by it's cover" stuff was coming full circle. Honestly, she wasn't really sure why they hadn't spoken before tonight. They had been in the same circle before and not even acknowledged each other. Which was ridiculous when she thought about it. When he had tripped the ex, Eden laughed harder, burying her face in her hands. Awful. Absolutely awful. However, finally looking at him again, she had a grin on her lips. "I know that I didn't have to, but I wanted to. So, yeah." Taking his hand gently, she lead him through the house and was fully aware of what this probably looked like. She wasn't known for being that type of girl, so this was kind of exhilarating, even though she wasn't doing what they suspected. Walking up the stairs, she kind of had to put her hand on his back to steady him. He was definitely more shit faced than she was. Of course, being the graceful person she was, she literally backed into the door, turning around with a blush on her cheeks. Closing the door behind her, she leaned against it, cursing herself for being a ditz. Heels...beers...not a very good combination. However, she felt the door open before she heard it, turning and falling into James's arms. Eden laughed audibly, pushing her hair out of her face as she gained her balance. "Oh, hey, thanks." But before she could answer his next question, he was already going downstairs. So...he was going to just...stay with her? Eden stood there a moment, weighing the implications of what people would think...and shrugged, walking into the room. Sitting on the bed, she took off her shoes, moving to sit in a more comfortable position. When he had entered the room again, he shut the door behind him before walking over to her...with an icepack? Eden smiled, "You made it look easy...I'm a wimp." Holding it to her hand, she watched him curiously. Had he chosen to hang out with her or was he abandoned? LOL. Too much thinking. Reaching over, she grabbed one of the beers, opening the cap and taking a drink. "I'm not a big partier if you couldn't tell." She joked easily. What a dork.

` EDEN DAVIES:  She literally had so much studying to do. So much. Yet, she had been..."gifted" with the drunken Potter. He must've found her appealing in some way, because after the little rescuing thing, he hadn't really went away. Not for long, anyway. When she heard his voice speak up, she turned around with furrowed brows and saw her ex. She laughed. Saw him begin to get angry again. And then she did something that she had never done before. Forming a fist, she sent a left hook across his jaw, leaving him cussing. Eden reared back her hand, holding it to her chest as she walked away a few steps, murmuring "ow" under her breath repeatedly before shaking it out, still wrinkling her little nose. That wasn't all that it was talked up to be. James had made it look easy. "Faaaaack." she breathed, watching James dismiss the ex. Walking back over to him, she let out a small breath. "Thank you." There. She had said it. Eden crossed her arms, attempting to hide the slight pain that she was feeling. "You didn't have to do that, you know...but I appreciate it." Pleeease no more smartass comments. Eden looked out over the party ensuing below them before looking at his wet attire with a small grin. "Come with me." Eden grabbed his hand, leading him back into the house and through the party, ignoring the stares. Walking upstairs, an area that was off limits to guests, she lead him into a guest room of sorts. It was where she would be staying if she got hammered, considering it was her friends party. "There are dry clothes in that dresser...since yours are soaked, I thought that'd be more comfortable...yeah, I can, um, wait outside or something..." Eden took a few steps backwards, literally running into the door before she wrinkled her nose again, turning around.

` EDEN DAVIES: Eden already wasn't in a good mood. Being around idiots wasn't really a favorite passed time of hers. And of course, the screaming was getting really fucking annoying. REALLY. That was, until, her ex decided to be a dick and try to force himself on her. And of course James Potter was the hero. She especially wanted to barf, now. However, she was actually grateful until he had to comment about getting in line. "Who the hell do you think I am? Unlike them, I do not worship the ground you walk on. I'd thank you, but," she shrugged, walking around her ex and back onto the balcony. She really wanted to leave and that was really not the first conversation she ever wanted to have with him. Now, she'd probably have a horde on angry women following her around with fire and pitchforks. She shunned the all-star. The current prince of quidditch. The Chosen One's son. Eden groaned, closing her eyes until she heard footsteps approaching her. Eden didn't turn around, feeling his presence. "I thought that was one of your fans coming to stab me in the back. Kind of happy that I don't have to break anyone's wrists tonight." She murmured casually. This night had already kind of been ruined. From the crazy ex to the stuck up...wonder boy encounter. Eden basically wanted to run and hide in a corner or leave. Or get absolutely smashed. They all sounded inviting.

` EDEN DAVIES: Great. A "celebrity" was gracing the social event that she had been forced to go to. Final year...focus was on school, not who the girls were swooning after. Even though she knew who he was, mainly because of her own parents. Eden held a beer in her hand, watching all of the half naked girls in the pool and how he jumped in to please them. He loved the attention. It kind of made her feel sick watching him. He tried so hard...or was he? Was he naturally just that...exuberant? He was a Potter after all, she guessed. Eden had made her way inside, pouring herself another drink. She had been pulled into a game of beer pong when they all heard screaming in another room. Slowly, they made their way to the kitchen and saw what appeared to be...Potter signing autographs. Eden made a face, pushing her way out of the crowd of people and onto the balcony. She heard people pass by, talking about how their shirt was signed or this and that. Tucking a strand of her long dark hair behind her ear, Eden looked down, noting the empty cup. This meant a kitchen trip. Eden literally pouted before turning around, coming face to face with her ex. Not really who she wanted to see at this very moment. His breath smelled like vodka. Not a good combo. "Emmett...we're not having this conversation again." He grabbed both of her wrists, causing her to look up at him sharply. "Are you out of your mind?! Let go. Now." He did and she made her way around him and he followed her inside closely. Grabbing her shoulder, he whipped her around, pushing her against the wall. Eden turned her head to the side, cringing at his closeness; trying to convince herself that he was just drunk. Suddenly, however, he was laying on the floor, looking stunned. Eden looked up and saw a very angry James Potter.

Again, I'll reiterate that you ARE NOT THE ONE GIVING BIRTH. But I'd be happy with a boy or a little girl. I already know that I'm going to have the prettiest babies in the family. c;
I think I love him the most. But I do think you'd have his baby it it were possible. Which is really kind of gross and weird.

James, on the other hand, did not. Commitment scared him initially, but he didn't want anyone else to date her. She was convinced that was the sole reason he wouldn't leave her be in school or after he graduated. Companionship came naturally between the two, however. While the tabloids loved to try to stir the shit pot, Eden and James barely acknowledged them. The foundation of their relationship was as solid as a rock. The trust that they had built was impenetrable. It was because of this, that she knew that they would be okay. This wouldn't even be considered a step back, it would be a step forward. Love knows no boundaries. Their love knows no boundaries. A laugh escaped at the mention of dust bunnies. He hated to clean. "I love you,"she spoke softly, wiping her eyes before looking up at him; a small smile on her lips. "And that's all that I ask." Tilting her chin up, Eden kissed him once more before taking his hand, leading him back to their bed. Crawling onto the mattress, she said, "I haven't been feeling great, but I wanted to make sure before I told you." Logical. Laying to that she was facing him, a playful smile rested on her lips. "I'm going to have to get used to not being able to see my feet, though." But at the end of the day, they had each other. And sooner rather than later, they would be able to put a name and a face to the product their love.

` EDEN DAVIES: They were going to be parents. It was still hard to believe. If someone would have told her in her fifth year that she was going to have James Potter's baby, she would have laughed. Hell, Harry would have laughed. James and Eden didn't always see eye to eye, but they realized early on that they had a connection that couldn't be broken, despite his cockiness that she had grown to love. They weren't engaged, yet, but that wasn't necessarily something that she was worried about. Eden wasn't worried about him leaving. Of course, now the papers would say that they only got engaged because of the pregnancy, blahblahblah. Not like either of them read the paper anymore, anyway. When she had decided to take the first test, it was a few days after her missed period. The morning sickness had a bit of an edge, but she still wasn't convinced. She thought the test was a false positive. A week later, she had taken another one, which proved to be positive again. While she was excited and anxious to tell him, Eden had decided against it. After he had been voted a leader, she began to panic. He had a career...fame. He could have any girl in the world, yet, he stuck by her side...and because that, she loved him unconditionally. As eloquent as she typically was, Eden was a rambling mess when she decided to drop the news on him, out of pure stress and anxiety. His voice was hollow...vacant, with his asked question. "A few weeks, at least," she managed. When James stood up from the bed, Eden froze, tears spilling over. Diverting her eyes to the ground, she chewed on the inside of her cheek until she felt his hands cup her face. God, this is it. Instead of him walking away, he had kissed her tenderly. Her eyes remained closed a moment before she opened them, her warm brown eyes finding his blue hues. He was smiling. What had she done to deserve him? To deserve this moment? "Really..?" Eden's left hand covered right before closing the space between them, laying her head against his chest. She was still crying, but it wasn't out of fear this time. Sniffling, she murmured, "I don't want you to give it up," she was stubborn to a certain extent. "I just want you to be careful." That was all that she was asking for. She would never ask him to give up something that he wanted to do so badly.

` EDEN DAVIES: Well, the meeting couldn't have really went any better, despite the face that her little brother had decided to show up and brought his girlfriend along. Not just any girl, though, but a Greyback. Whether they were actually together or not, she didn't know, but it looked like it. When she and James had gotten home, Eden felt like she was going to pass out. Not necessarily because she was sick, but because he had actually gotten voted as a leader. And while that would normally be great, Eden had some big news herself to tell him. Pale faced, Eden had successfully avoided him and made it upstairs to take a cool shower. After getting dressed, Eden stood in front of the mirror, taking a deep breath before opening the door, walking over to the bed- sitting by his legs; her hands on either side of her on the bed. "So, that went pretty good, yeah?" Eden managed a grin, his over sized Magpies t-shirt reaching her thighs. She was acting weird and he'd know it. Finally standing again, Eden turned to look at him, her brows furrowed. "I'm scared. For you. For us." Still vague. Her emotions were a disaster right now. She forgot about being mad at him for inviting Camden. "I...have some news, too, and it's probably not going to be what you want to hear." Now she had cold sweats. Eden was sure that she was going to have a nervous breakdown and start crying. How could you plan for this, though? "I took a test...multiple tests to be sure." Vader had jumped up onto the bed at this point. Great. An audience. "I, um...I'm pregnant, James." Her hands ran through her short, damp hair before she held onto her arm, her eyes watery. She knew what this meant. They could both get hurt...or die. Hell, something could happen to the little blip and that'd kill her.

While the Harbinger's celebrated another successful attack, the halls of the hospital resembled those a triage center, still. Jade found herself holding her breath more than usual during rounds. The smells were overwhelming, more so than the groaning and moaning of other injured patients on her floor. Focusing her vision on the clipboard and files in front of her, she was able to focus her thoughts elsewhere...which kept leading back to Teddy. Over the years of knowing him, something tragic always had a way of finding him. His relationship with Weasley ended poorly, which left a bad taste in the brunette's mouth for the blonde. Jade had seen him hurt too many times. Most recently with the death of Hermione and now his godfather. He didn't handle tragedy well, either. He tended to drink his sorrows away instead of expressing how he felt. Jade was always the one to cry. Not around anyone else, but because she knew how deeply the wounds were set. Teddy always had a way of finding her and all he had to do was give her a look and she knew. It didn't have to be with words. It was unspoken. Walking into a back office, Jade put her files away for the day, leaving a stack of notes for herself for her next shift. After stopping by the front desk, she found herself walking out to the streets of London- cutting a corner before finding her car.
When she pulled up, the light shining through the window made her grip her wand a bit tighter than usual. Unlocking the door, she heard the familiar click before hearing noise in the kitchen. Teddy, she thought, going upstairs to change out of her scrubs before going back downstairs. Walking into the kitchen, she leaned against the frame, watching him for a moment, remaining silent. She was nearly positive that the bottle of whiskey beside him was unopened before tonight. As of now, it remained half-full...maybe a little less. "You know that they only report lies and rumors," Jade walked towards him, gently taking the paper out of his hands. Cupping his face, her light hazel eyes scanning over his face before dropping them. "You need to eat...and sleep, Ted." Sighing softly, she pulled the chair out beside him, sitting. "You being weak and exhausted isn't going to help-- what happened to your hands?!" Standing up immediately, Jade walked over to her freezer, getting a baggie of ice for his hand- returning and resting it over his knuckles, holding it in place. Worry was etched into her features, her eyes focused on the bruising. He wasn't taking care of himself. He had no family. He was alone and it was beginning to show for the first time since she had met him. "You're going to stay here and you're going to eat something." It wasn't an option. She wasn't going to let him out of her sight. Her tired eyes were still focused on his hand, unmoving. Truth is, she was in pain herself. The full moon had only been nights ago and the aftermath was still very present. There was nothing normal about her life...about his. Tragedy seemed to cloud both of their lives.
