MEMBER GROUPS
in this thread, you will find information about our member groups. it is highly recommended to read over this thread, if you are wishing to create a character it'll help clear some things up on the site.
MUGGLEBORNS
muggleborns are their own member group on our site due to the fact that they have been kicked out of hogwarts by the death eaters. if you are playing a muggleborn, they were kicked out when the death eaters took over hogwarts. if your character is a muggleborn though is over the age of eighteen then they will be placed into the adult group on our site. this group are students, who are struggling to learn magic since they have been kicked out of the school. anyone in this member group may be a supporter or a member of the order of the phoenix. they may also be a death eater supporter, however will not become a death eater member due to the death eaters knowing who is and isn't a muggleborn due to the hogwarts' list of muggleborns. this list was established each time the headmaster/headmistress visited two muggle parents to discuss their child attending hogwarts. they may attend events except the ones for students since they are currently not attending the school. this member group would also most likely not hold any jobs because they are constantly moving around to avoid being caught by the death eaters.
MUGGLES
muggles are non-magic folk which means they have no magical abilities. if you are creating a character for the muggle group, they may or may not have knowledge of the wizarding world. the only way that a muggle has knowledge of the wizarding world is if they have muggleborn children or meet a wizard/witch on our site. keep in mind, no muggles on our site will have retained knowledge of knowing a witch or wizard before three years ago. this means when the aurors were pretty much all killed, the muggles that have found out the wizarding world keep their memories. previously, aurors wiped the memories of muggles. if a muggle has knowledge of the wizarding world and knows a witch/wizard well, they can become a supporter of either the order or death eaters. they also will not hold any jobs in the wizarding world. they may be roleplayed in the around the world boards and london. if a muggle supports the death eaters, they may not attend a meeting or attack thread. if a muggle supports the order, they may attend meetings and be involved in attack threads, perhaps helping their wizard/witch friend out.
SQUIBS
squibs are children of a witch and wizard though never showed any magical ability at a young age like most children. this member group is barely existing as only five squibs remain in britain due to being killed by the death eaters. squibs can be roleplayed anywhere on our site and will only be supporters to either the death eaters or order of the phoenix. they may participate in our events on the site and can only hold jobs that do not require magical ability (ex: shopkeeper).
ADULTS
adults are witches/wizards who are capable of magic and have graduated from hogwarts or another magical school. this member group are the only group that can hold leadership positions in the death eaters or order of the phoenix. this rule is for the fact that the death eaters would not place a student in charge and neither would the order of the phoenix. they may participate in all events, but student events unless otherwise stated in an event info page.
OUR STUDENTS
presently, the only student groups are gryffindor, hufflepuff, slytherin, and ravenclaw. each member group can access their common room without a password. if you are a gryffindor and can not see the slytherin common room, it is because only slytherins have access to their common room. our students may only be supporters of the death eaters and order of the phoenix. they may attend the meetings and events of both. however sometimes our event info pages may state that they can only attend, if consequences happen since sneaking out of the castle is something that would draw the attention of death eaters. if your student is a supporter of the death eaters, they may not be applied to these consequences.
