”YES I KILLED HIM, MY DEAR HUSBAND…”

Alia Malene Yves was born to Sean Lone Yves and Carnation Des Montrell a wealthy French family coming from the Yves side of pure blood politics Dec 13th, 1977 Her father worked for the French Ministry of Magic while her mother worked as Charms Professor at Beauxbatons. Alia was to attend the school as well like both of her parents, however at the age of eight years old her parents moved to London, and told her she would attend Hogwarts. When her letter arrived for Hogwarts and on her arrival she was sorted into the house of Slytherin something Sean, her father, was extremely proud of. Alias mother however had hoped she would be sorted into the house of Hufflepuff or even Ravenclaw, and felt Slytherin house presented an evil presence. She was always a quick study to subjects usually doing fairly well in many of her classes. She became extremely good at potions, as well as an expert in the History of Magic, Alia become obsessed with at a young age wanting to unlock and discover every magical secret and achievement in the world. Divination was also a subject she excelled in despite, having no natural gift of Seer, she yet made sense of tea leaves and even crystal ball readings at some points, in theory she completely understood the field of study.

When her family had moved to London, the first wizarding was at its escalating point her dad joined forces with the Death Eaters secretly, without Alia or her mother knowing. In 1994 Alia graduated Hogwarts and her mother urged her to join St. Mungos and work as a healer in the Potions ward, something her mother had tried lining the job for her up. Alia however refused, being drawn by her father into the work at the Ministry, for his Magical Transportation Department that he was heading at the time. She worked on the Floo Network Regulatory board for a few years until the fall of the Ministry in 1998, she officially joined the Death Eaters then along with her dad. Alia went on to start training as an Unspeakable under the new Ministry but kept a low profile as a DE. Her mother, Carnation was beside herself finding out her daughter and husband were Death Eaters, planned to seek out the Order and give them info she had heard from her husband discussing with another Death Eater one night.

Before anything could happen, Alia came home to find her mother dead and her father standing over his wand drawn and looking down at the body of his dead wife. She still remembers her dad response to her “We don’t live to protect the Death Eaters or anyone but, ourselves, we protect the names of Yves even from our own loved ones”. After the fall of Voldemort, Alia’s dad was arrested and sent to Azkaban yet, Alia was never arrested as none could prove she had truly helped the Death Eaters in any way. In 1999, at the age of 22 she finally became an Unspeakable and in the next month or so she married a man named Kenneth Heron, from an American pureblood family, he had happen to be traveling the world and they met together at the London Eye.

In 2000 just months after they had married, Alia gave birth to her oldest son followed by another within the next year. After the second child she and Kenneth agreed to not have any more or to wait at least in the future too. In 2005, Alia’s dad died in Azkaban which fueled her rage even more so against the Ministry, and the Order along with Aurors and those on side of good. Her husband agreed with her views as well, and they set out to instill those values within their sons. In 2015, she become the Head Unspeakable of the Department, but yet not in full entire control of the department. Her position however gave her much more clearance within the Ministry and the ability to do other research into different areas of magic, and try to figure more secrets out. Alia also spent a lot of time within the Ministry, digging dirt up on people keeping files of all the Heads of departments and learning different gossip mainly of her chief rival Arik Burton Waters a man gunning for the Minister position, and a real threat.

Throughout her entire life Alia has always been to serve at the end her family, the name of Yves is more than just her or her sons, it is a way of life, and an extension to the generations of pureblood and perfect views of the French family dating back generations ago. However; Alia still is somewhat a faithful Death Eater and in 2018 she become Head of the Department of Mysteries using her position to funnel information to the Death Eaters and their kids over at Durmstrang. In 2023 at the attack of the Ministry, Alia helped take down any in her department that weren’t loyal to the Death Eaters and fought alongside her husband Kenneth. Since then she has kept her positon and is using it to further her own goals, and protecting the Yves name.

In April 2026, Alia arrived home to what she said was to discover her husband in bed still from the morning, and was in fact dead. The death seemed to be regular natural causes, Alia cried, mornoued, lashed out at the world, and then within months returned to normal. In fact Kenneth Heron had been poisoned just the night before by Alia herself, who feared he was endangering the Yves name and was more loyal to the Lestranges than to her or their sons. No ever suspected anything and Alia felt safe until a month ago when she received a strange letter that was inside her house, of all places, reading “I know what you did…I’ll strike when it’s right”. The end wording has sent Alia into a hunt for the missing and assumed dead Arik Burton Waters along with any traces of his family if they survived his Manor attack so long ago. Alia in the end is willing to do anything to protect the Yves name even killing her own family…..
