just tryin to work out , how to be myself, but it's just a rumor.
Sean walked around hogsmeade with his hands in his pockets. he really didn't want to go on this trip, he's had a hard time of it since his sister, as to be expected. But she was actually his normal hogsmeade partner. Since he was able to go and she wasn't, Sean was constantly telling Sophie about the trip and how awesome it all was. And the last two years they lived and relived the whole ordeal. He smiled remembering the mischievous little girl who loved Zonko's. There was always a bit of a pang in his heart when he thought about it. Or rather, a pain so large it felt like it could break him in two. But Sean brushed it aside, focusing on Quidditch, on the classes he was never good at... and avoiding his sisters. They'd want a big family cry and he couldn't handle it. To the school it would look like Sean was mourning, wasn't caring. But he was good at that. And it wasn't necessarily true at all.
He walked into Zonko's and brushed through the items, picking up a Snap deck of cards and a few flashbangs, for really no reason. He was heading around the back of the store when he turned a bit too sharply, knocking into someone. "Shit, sorry." He said, reaching out to steady the person. "Didn't see you." And with that steped around them without really looking at their face.

` JULIET ROSIER:  Things had been weird lately. Juliet was walking a weird line between family and friends and what was right and what was wrong. Ziggy had recently revealed to her that the Order had just reunited or something. That wasn't really shocking to her. She had heard whispers about a student order...or was it guardians?...that were grouping together, too. Juliet knew that she had some valuable information. Remaining friends with both parties had kept her ass safe. That is, until she decided to take action, which would be soon. Recently, a student had been killed and she was the first one in ages. Unfortunately, it was Sean and Emma's little sister, which made her heart hurt. She was always kind and energetic; filling the school dark with color. Sean seemed like he was keeping busy and Ella was...annoying. Slightly intolerable. She really didn't know what to do about her. Walking around Hogsmeade, Jules had her hands shoved into her leather jacket pockets, pretty much just browsing windows. Walking into Zonko's, she decided to just take a look around...try not to have a firework blow up in her face or anything sucky like that. However, her plan pretty much backfired when a human ran into her with just as much impact. Instinctively, Juliet reached out, grabbing a hold of him? Him. "Well, fuck," she breathed, running a hand through her dark brown locks. Looking up, she noticed the familiar face, softening her gaze as she smiled slightly. "Sean," she murmured, reaching for his arm. "You nearly knock me over and then I can't even get a hug. That's kinda shitty." She smirked.

just tryin to work out , how to be myself, but it's just a rumor. Upon walking away, Sean heard a familiar voice and felt a smile spread on his face. "Believe it or not," he started, turning to her with a grin, "I don't think I recognized you." He walked back to see her, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug. Juliet. He always liked this girl. She was really very cool and had a heart of gold from what he remembered. Fun too, which was important. Sean knew her really only through his ex girlfriend. They were best friends and therefore Sean got to know Juliet really well. After all, there were far too many times that Sean and his ex fought, and Jules was always up to just hang out.
Oddly, he was surprised he didn't get a negative reaction from her. "I'm surprised you're talking to me... the big bad ex." He teased, shoving his hands into his jean pockets. Surely, Jules would've heard that Sean had cheated on his ex girlfriend. Well, that was the story going around, and Sean was alright with that. He realized months back that he just wasn't into it anymore, and if it gave him a clean break, then he'd take it. . "It's good to see you, though. ` JULIET ROSIER: "Didn't recognize me? What do I look like, now?" A small laugh escaped her lips. Juliet hugged him just as tightly, her head resting against her chest while doing so. She had always liked him...especially after she had gotten to know him further. He was easy to be herself around and he didn't falter because of who her parents or her brother was. She was her own person. Though while he dated her best female friend, she got to know him even better. When the couple would fight, she would be there to hang out with and talk. Which kind of put her in a bad spot when they broke up, because she was friends with the pair of them. Her best want her to stop talking to him all together, but that wasn't really something she was planning on doing, obviously. She didn't care much for people telling her what to do, especially when they were the same age as she. Big bad ex. She snickered. "Yeah, well, I don't believe everything she says. I'm not a complete idiot, you know." Juliet ran a hand through her hair, smiling up at him. They were still standing close, but it was comfortable. "I was kind of just window shopping, actually. Came in here to browse and get away from that wind outside." A small grin formed as she tilted her head to the side slightly. She knew what he had went through recently and it made her heart hurt. Reaching forward, she took hi hand and held it gently. "You doing okay..? Stupid question, I'm sure. But I'm here, you know. If you need anything at all." She released his hand, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

With an old soul and a complicated story. He never once got the feeling like he couldn't distrust her, which was particularly rare in this day an age. Which was impressive to him, after all, he wasn't one to immediately trust people... or anyone, actually. Particularly as of late. But there was always something about her, since he first time he plopped down next to her in class. Ironically he was dating her best friend days later. "No, suppose I'm not used to seeing you without your cohort." He grinned easily, recognizing how close she and his ex were to each other. "I know you're not an idiot." he said with a smile, he was glad for it. He was used to girls shunning him when they didn't get what they wanted from him. Suppose Sean only had so much to give.. .and it was even less now.
Window shopping. Suppose Sean was doing the same, or rather he should have been. He shouldn't buy the object he held in his hand, but smiled nonetheless. "Window shopping is undoubtedly the better idea." He placed his object on the shelf but found himself inwardly recoiling at her sudden touch. He saw the change in her face, it was a face he'd been getting for weeks now. And it made him uncomfortable. Sean didn't like to be looked at like a kicked puppy, but he nodded. "Appreciate it." he brushed off the subject, nodding towards the door. "Maybe want to get some coffee? Don't think I have enough money to go on a prank spree today." He half- smiled, walking towards the front slowly- wondering if she'd want to tag along.

In fact, the girl that was supposed to be her best friend, had completely betrayed her confidence. Going after someone that she was genuinely into. Not only that, but she had dated him for a year. A year of bragging and deception and rubbing it in her face. Juliet grew bitter towards her and when they finally broke up, she was almost relieved that it was over. "Thanks for acknowledging that." Jules smiled easily, looking away from him. However, she had a big mouth and didn't really know when to stop. She had brought up his sister, which was probably a bad move. She noted the change in his behavior before he had successfully changed the subject...and she let him. "Yeah, why not." She grinned, pausing a moment before walking beside him outside. This was the first time that they had really been outside of the castle without his ex. It was kind of weird, but all together more comfortable. Juliet walked close beside him as they made their way to a little cafe. Walking in, they made their way over to a booth. Jules shrugged her jacket off, pushing her hair over one shoulder. Awkward turtle. She'd fix that. "So, have you missed me?" she teased, propping her chin up on her hand with a grin.

"Sorry to hear that." he said, wondering just what it was that pushed the pair so far apart. From what he could always tell, they were partners in crime, practically glued at the hip. And that's the really only reason he knew Juliet so well. Because he was placed on a rather small leash and was required to spend quite a bit of time with both of them. He did recall feeling awful the few times that his Ex would push out Juliet so he and her could make out. It was embarrassing, particularly when the girl used to just practically jump him and Jules had to sneak out. He turned vaguely pink remembering. Geez, she much think him an asshole.
But when they nestled into the booth, she spoke again. He met her eyes and despite his recent need to avoid eye contact, in fear of people truly seeing into his soul- Sean maintained eye contact with her. Possibly because she was far too beautiful to look away from. "terribly." he told her with a grin, "Cant imagine how I even survived until now that you're back in my life..." He spoke dramatically, chuckling to himself. It was always entertaining have a conversation with her. "And you? Surely you missed little old me." Sean murmured, laying on the flirt more than he ever dared to before with this girl. He was happy about it too, it seemed natural talking to Juliet, and he was slowly realizing how much easier it was to flirt with her than to not.
"So why are you two on the outs?" He asked, curiously, "Am I allowed to ask?"

` JULIET ROSIER: Juliet settled easily across from him. She was comfortable around him and that had always kind of been the case. He was a fun person to be around. Her smile widened as she heard him dramatically answer her question. She was fully prepared to give it right back...and she did. "My heart broke the second we parted," her other hand had moved to her chest. "It's a miracle I've lasted this long." Juliet laughed softly, dropping her other hand, sitting up slightly. Is this what she had been missing? The flirting? She was shameless. She didn't even care that they were in town with other students to see them. But then...he asked about Pamela. Juliet's smile faltered slightly as she looked at her hands for a moment. Should she really even tell him? "Well, it's a bit complicated, really..." She began, pursing her lips. "She...well. Before you two started dating...I was interested in you. Had talked to her in confidence about you..." she paused a moment, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "And almost immediately, she started throwing herself at you...and I'm not that person. I could tell that you liked her, so I let it go." Looking up at him, she found his eyes. "So, now that the pair of you have parted ways, she's trying to keep her grip on me...and I don't like that. So, I snapped." Juliet shrugged slightly. She wasn't going to go into how she was trying to make sure that they didn't date. "She doesn't want us to speak...obviously, screw that...and she's convinced that you two will grow together again. Which kind of makes me feel ill." She smirked. She was very kind and sweet...but there were just some things that she had to put her foot down about.

just tryin to work out , how to be myself, but it's just a rumor. A smile crossed his face, seeing her act dramatically like that. He watched as she put a hand to her chest, his eyes lingering before looking down at the table quickly. Sean sat back in his seat, hands falling to his lap as he listened to her. The words didn't make sense to him, not like he thought they would. It was simple and complicated all at the same time.
I was interested in you. Sean watched her carefully, wondering if he misheard her or this was some sort of joke. Because he hadn't heard anything like this from her before. Maybe once drunk he'd hit on her more than he should've... but that was so long ago, he assumed it was...forgotten. He ran a hand through his hair and understood the dynamic of her and Pam's relationship after all this time. They always seemed so close, he never really got that they might not have been what they seemed. "I didn't know," Sean spoke, straightening as he looked at her. "I'm sorry about that." he was a flirt, and he and Juliet just got along so well without even trying most days, he just saw her as far too good for him most of the time. But she was speaking in past tense and he certainly caught up on that.
Amazing what happened below his nose, when it came to girls. "I don't plan on it." He assured her, not wanting her to feel ill. But who knew how this semester would tug Sean. He knew he was in no spot to even think about another relationship. And he was beginning to feel like the stupid ass male who fell for some ploy. He furrowed his brow, he wasn't that empty headed. He was about some things, and yeah boys were stupid in love in their own ways, but it was beginning to feel like he was the sole reason that these two split as friends.
"It's not entirely her fault. I picked her at that time, you know." He said, somewhat quietly, finding his voice. "I didn't realize what I needed and went with what was given to me." He felt the need to explain to Juliet. Though he shouldn't have had to at all. But now he couldn't quite stop. Because she probably thought him as fickle and shallow as anyone could be.
