[attr="class","GGcontenttemp1"] I could have been a sixth year...That's what Alexandra was thinking as she trudged through the halls of another school. Her parents made sure that she was learning everything that a normal child in their world would learn. Ever since she had her letter from Hogwarts her parents seemed to be in denial about her being a witch. Alexandra was saddened and angry that she was forced to leave Hogwarts just because of her blood status. Her family, including her older sister, were happy that she was kicked out of the school. She has made friends at the school that she has been forced to attend. She didn't want to but her parents said, "You have to lead a normal life now." Alexandra's form of normal was ruined when Hogwarts was taken over by Death Eaters.
She made her way to her first class of the day which was Calculus. She has always hated math and was never really good at it. Her parents made sure that she had a tutor to help her. Her father was really good at math and she didn't know why her father wouldn't help her. He probably thinks I'm dangerous. The girl thought as she sat in her usual seat by the window. The teacher walked in shortly and started the class by collecting last night's homework. Alexandra had her tutor's help so she should have answered most of the problems correctly. Alexandra still had her wand, and she spent her money from Gringotts to buy more books that Hogwarts would issue, of course she had to be careful.
Alexandra looked out of her window the whole time during class, that is until her teacher called on her to perform a problem on the board. She got up from her seat, obediently, and made her way to the board. She looked at the problem and somewhat remembered what to do. She stood there trying to think of the first step. Alexandra heard snickers behind her as she tried to figure out the problem. "Let's pay attention this time, Ms. Grey." Her teacher said. She nodded and stood there watching her teacher explain the problem to her. "You may go back to your seat now." She nodded again feeling her cheeks turning red as she made her way to her seat. Another embarrassing day. She thought as she took out her notebooks and started jotting down notes.
