We have not met, unfortunately, but I have come to hear your name through passing, in which I am hoping to amend the aforementioned above. My name is Angelique Delacroix, a close friend of Dominique Weasley whom you are closely acquainted with. Dominique is a very dear friend of mine whom has spoken quite fondly of you. She tells me you are a researcher, a man of knowledge, and that you seem to make her quite happy. While I understand how important your work is, even the Department Heads are allotted time away from the office. Surely you can find some time as you would for Dominique? It would not take long, I assure you. I insist as I would greatly enjoy the chance to meet someone whom Dominique has spoken so highly about. I would certainly like to see this first hand for myself. That time has been filled by Dominique. And a meeting with you would take longer than I am prepared to make time for. My sincerest apologies.

As far as Dominique is concerned, I think a invitation to tea with her best friend and work acquaintance would make her less than thrilled. Until there is a time that she is the one creating this meeting, I have to insist that we best put it off. The last thing I would like to do is make her feel uncomfortable, such as sending letters behind her back. If you would like to meet me, I would suggest speaking to her about it.

I assure you, there is no secrecy in these letters. In fact, I would not be sending them if it were not for her. She is the one whom mentioned you, and I'm sure you can understand that as her friend, I would like to be acquainted with those whom she is interested in. If you would prefer her to arrange a small rendezvous, I would certainly understand. As I can imagine how unsettling it is to receive such forward letters from an unknown individual.
