Rebecca Ashley Dabney |
[attr="class","boxy"]Rebecca Ashley Dabney was born on April 16 2011. The girl's mother was a witch while her father was a muggle. The two of them got married regardless of what their families said. She is a single child and her parents made sure that their daughter was not spoiled. She was grateful for everything that she has and still is. She's glad that her parents were able to provide her with such wonderful things but of course she would get jealous at times, but Rebecca usually got over it. She has also known that she was a witch because her mother was a pureblood. She knew she was going to be going to Hogwarts, just like her mother did.
The girl couldn't wait to turn eleven just because she knew she was going to Hogwarts. Even though her mother was from a pureblood family they disowned her because she was a blood traitor or whatever. Rebecca didn't understand this until she went to Hogwarts. Her mother was only explaining why they were living in a muggle neighborhood. She didn't mind and she liked going to school and meeting up with her friends. She went to private schools. Her father came from a rich family, and they wanted to make sure that Rebecca was going to have the best education that she can. Surprisingly, Rebecca's father's side of the family didn't disown him. Rebecca figured that they liked to have a witch on their side.
The year that Rebecca turned eleven was the most exciting time. She knew that her letter from Hogwarts should be coming and she couldn't wait. She looked out for owls, and whenever she heard a hoot she would turn around expecting it to be coming her way. A lot of her friends said that she was acting weird. She just dismissed it by saying that she has always liked owls. Rebecca did like owls, but not as much as she did when she finally turned eleven. Rebecca knew she had to keep the wizarding world a secret from her friends. It was hard for her to keep it from them, but she managed to. Rebecca asked her mum why her letter didn't even come yet, and she said that the letters were supposed to come in early July. She didn't like that she had to wait so long, but she soon later just busied herself with other things as she waited.
When early July rolled around Rebecca was really excited. She knew that the post didn't come until around the afternoon so she would wait and look out the window almost every hour that she was awake. Her parents were a little concerned that she was obsessing over the idea of going to Hogwarts. The girl always wanted to go somewhere besides staying in the neighborhood that they have lived in, she always yearned for adventure. When she knew that she was going to go to Hogwarts she knew adventure awaited for her, so she couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts. Of course she was going to miss her lovely parents, but she really couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts.
The first four years flew by for her. Rebecca has seen many tragedies while she was at Hogwarts. Her parents wanted her to stay at home this year but she refused. She felt like she needed to protect the first years or younger students. The Death Eaters were ruthless and now that she's older she feels that it is her responsibility to protect the new and younger students. She could take the torture, she has been through it, but not the first years. Her parents were reluctant but they knew they couldn't change Rebecca's mind once it was made up. So here she is at Hogwarts for her fifth year.
