Alexandra Carmen Grey |
[attr="class","boxy"]Alexandra Carmen Grey was brought into the world on August 10, 2010. She was born early in the morning (no wonder she's a morning person). The family that she was born into believed in the real world. Her family never really believed in fairy tales or anything. Alexandra grew up without fairy tales in the house but once she was in school she was exposed to them and loved them. Alexandra always read fairy tale books whenever she could at school, since it wasn't allowed at home. Her sister was also adamant about not reading fairy tales. Alexandra's older sister was a copy of her parents, while Alexandra tended to rebel against her parents.
One day when the letter to Hogwarts came her parents were sure that it was a prank. Alexandra managed to convince them that it wasn't a prank. Her parents contacted all of her friends - without revealing the name of the school of course - and that was what convinced her parents that she was something special. Alexandra's parents didn't know what to do for they don't know anyone with magic in their families. Alexandra had to do almost everything on her own. She found away to Diagon Alley and bought all of the books that she needed with her money from Gringotts. She had no idea that she had so much on her account. She was surprised when the goblin opened it up.
When she went to buy her wand the wandmaker warned her since she was a muggleborn. He warned her to be careful and to watch out for Death Eaters and their spies. She had no idea what a Death Eater was and how she could tell who was a Death Eater. She was about to ask him how she could tell, but the man shooed her away after she bought her wand. She was confused and made her way back home. Her family were quite weary when she came back with everything. She did all of the shopping herself, her family didn't want to go to a place where "magic" and such blossomed. She tried to show them what she bought but they all backed away as if she could harm them.
Alexandra went off to Hogwarts on her own. Her journey to Hogwarts was great, since she made a new friend on the train. The two of them became the best of friends and made sure to keep in touch during the holidays. The two of them decided to use muggle mail. Her friend wasn't a muggleborn so she had no idea how to send muggle mail. Alexandra taught her friend and told her about post offices and the like. But the summer after her second year was the worst. She received a howler that said that she can't attend Hogwarts anymore, because she was a muggleborn. She cried her eyes out while her father and sister were quite glad. Her mother turned around after Alexandra's first year at Hogwarts. Alexandra's mother saw how happy she was at the school and that she was learning what she needed to, after that her mother has always been supporting her.
After that her father made her attend this normal boarding school. The fact that she had to live there made her remember Hogwarts even more. She didn't want to but her father made sure that she went. She hated it from the beginning, even though she became friends with her roommate and all. And every summer she would go to this camp, it was great fun and all but she never really enjoyed it. The only thing she enjoyed about the camp was being able to sneak off and practice the spells that she learned and managed to learn about from her best friend at Hogwarts.
She is now sixteen and is finally at that dating age her parents determined for both her and her older sister. Her older sister dated only a couple of boys, and hasn't dated since the last boyfriend that she had during high school. Alexandra hasn't dated at all. She may be rebellious but that was the one rule she followed because of her shyness. Alexandra is bit more outspoken now, but not more outspoken about her true feelings for someone. She also wants to concentrate on her education and her efforts for the impending war. She has been learning a lot and has been improving.
