Scorpius stands at 6'0" tall. He has fair skin and blonde hair. In many ways he looks a lot like his father and grandfather Lucius. However, he has a softer appearance, more like his mother, Astoria. He has a good strong build from his athletic interests in Quidditch and dueling. Scorpius has a good sense of fashion. He dresses to impress because that's something his family instilled in him. If you ask any past girlfriend they will say his most memorable trait is his smolder.
Scorpius was a shy kid growing up. When he went to school he was bullied because of his family history. He mostly only had fake/shallow friends while in school. However, now, when he does make real friends he is very grateful for their friendship, though he doesn't really know how to open up to them. He has a hard time showing his real feelings. Scorpius at heart is a kind and caring type of person. He is also really chill and a good listener. Scorpius is brave, something that he has proven by staying in school after the death eaters took over when he could've run and gone into hiding. He also shows his bravery by being at Hogwarts and being the DADA Professor. Scorpius can be very secretive, though he wishes he could trust people more and open up to his friends. He has just had to be so guarded for so long it's something he finds difficult. Scorpius was taught by his mother to be accepting of all blood types and to not be a dick like his Malfoy side -however, most people are wary of his him because of his family's never-forgotten role in the Second Wizarding War. Scorpius just wants world peace and for people to just live and let live. But until then he will be a fighter so that he can help rebuild society and rewrite how other's see him.
Scorpius was born to parents Draco Malfoy and Astoria Greengrass. Growing up, Scorp was a spoiled kid. He was the only child and his Malfoy grandparent's only grandchild. He always received the best of the best. Scorp always assumed his parents and grandparents loved him but sometimes it wasn't always easy to see because of their naturally distant natures. Despite their many flaws his family were capable of real love, unlike most who have fallen to the darkness of death eater association. Scorpius' grandfather Lucius Malfoy was a cold hearted man who was self obsessed. However, Lucius did care for Scorpius in his own way. Scorpius was often confused by his grandfather and the very dark hobbies he had. It never felt right to Scorpius but he never really had a voice in the family. Hierarchy and age very much played a role in the family dynamic. Scorpius' grandmother (Narcissa Malfoy) was prideful woman. She was always very quiet and very bitter about her life. However, she loved to spoil Scorpius when Lucius wasn't around. Draco also loved Scorpius very much but often had a hard time showing his love. Draco was very distant with Scorpius. He preferred to watch from a far rather than get too involved. He was afraid he'd mess Scorpius up the way his parents had screwed him up as a kid. Obvious displays of affection from Draco were far and few in between but when they happened, Scorpius knew that deep down his father cared about him... at least in some degree. Scorpius' mother - Astoria had also been raised in a death eater family that wanted purebloods to reign supreme. However, ever the second wizarding war, Astoria chose to leave those ways behind. Astoria did her best to teach Scorpius to be accepting of others and not feel or act superior to others because of his bloodline. Scorpius grew up listening to his mother and took on her beliefs. Narcissa and Lucius especially, often got into big arguments with Astoria because of this. They wanted him to feel prideful of his blood and to realize his superiority. Astoria was a stronger woman than they gave her credit for and she was able to stand her ground and teach her son the difference between right and wrong.
When Scorpius went to Hogwarts for the first time, his mother and father dropped him off. Scorpius was shy but excited to go off to school and learn how to be a great wizard. However, his optimism was quickly squashed. He soon realized he had many people who were eager to bully him. No one wanted him to sit near them on the train. Everyone seemed to know who he was and gave him the stink eye shamelessly. Those who didn't, once he introduced himself, would instantly be disinterested in taking his hand for a shake. When Scorpius was sorted into Slytherin house he knew he would please his family. However, it didn't please his classmates. He remembered looking out into the crowd and seeing the Gryffindors looking as if they'd expected it. When he looked at the Slytherin table, no one cheered that he was sorted into their house. The majority snubbed him off. The longest minute of his life was right after than when he had to walk to the very end of the Slytherin House table because no one wanted to make room for him to squeeze in.
Scorpius met some other kids that seemed to have personal vendettas against him even though he had no idea who they were. Most of these were Potters, Weasleys and the like. Everyone seemed to hate him and he began to wonder if perhaps his mum should've let him go to Durmstrang like his grandfather Lucius had wanted for him. It wasn't until Scorpius was do research for his History of Magic Class about the second wizarding war that he realized why everyone hated him. He read about his family and how they had been loyal supporters of the Dark Lord and then how they fled the last battle before the end. Scorpius was dumfounded. He couldn't believe his family had kept all of this a secret from him this whole time. He began to realize that kids who had family on the death eater side hated him because his family had become traitors to their cause. He also realized that kids of those who were in the Order or their supporters hated him because his family played a big role in loss and persecution for their families. Scorpius felt horrible and hated that he had come from a family that so much baggage. He couldn't do anything about it though, he was who he was. His first year was very lonely.
When Scorpius entered his second year he wasn't excited to go back to school. However, it was the year he first met Lily Potter. She was a sweet person. Even though she wasn't jumping to be his friend, she was never cold and cruel like the others were towards him. He wanted to be her friend but never really tried because he didn't want her to become a loser by association. Also, this year he tried out and got on the Slytherin Quidditch team as the seeker. His mother had encouraged him to do so that he can try to make new friends. His grandfather bought the whole team the latest, most expensive and desirable brooms for their house team. Scorpius agreed because he was willing to try anything to make new friends. After that, his teammates acknowledged him but that was about it. For everyone else not in Slytherin House, it just made them all hate him even more. Second year, was the firs year Scorpius attended Duelling Club. He soon realized he was really good at fighting. However, he did too much fighting. He didn't want to fight... he wanted to make friends... but at least he knew he could protect himself if things got out of hand.
When Scorpius entered his third year things began to change for Scorpius. Girls began to notice his good looks and he slowly became more popular because of that and his track record on the Quidditch team. Most of these new friends felt more like fake friends. Everyone had an agenda and when things didn't go their way, they'd ignore him again. Scorpius had to deal with having fake friends just so he wouldn't feel so alone. This was the year that his family started really teaching extra things he couldn't learn at school. His grandfather, Lucius, was especially eager to bring him home on the weekends to give him private lessons on dueling. His grandmother, Narcissa, began to teach him how to block his mind by being an occlumens. His father, Draco, began to teach him the beginnings of how to do non-verbal magic.
The rest of Scorpius' time at Hogwarts was calmer but still quite miserable. He had girls who wanted to date him and guys who wanted to be him... but no one really cared about him. He never really had a best friend while he was at Hogwarts. People just wanted to use him for his own devices but no one cared about the real Scorpius. He had about half a dozen girlfriends before he left Hogwarts. Each one, he hoped would be the one. He was a bit of a romantic like that. It wasn't until his sixth year that he had Lily Potter actually became kinda friends. Of course, Scorpius soon wanted to be more than friends but he always kept those thoughts to himself. He kept his heart closed because he didn't think she'd ever return feelings for him.
In Scorpius' seventh year, both the ministry and hogwarts was taken over by death eaters. Scorpius parents and Malfoy grandparents were captured by the death eaters who saw them as traitors. They were tortured until the point of insanity. When the death eaters took over the school, they mistreated Scorpius because they saw him as the son of a traitor. He was also tortured many times but never to the point of insanity. He had to watch as his peers were killed because of their blood and it made him sick. These people were monsters. Scorpius' parents were eventually released but then had to live in St. Mungos because they had lost their minds. At first, Scorpius wanted to leave Hogwarts and get as far away from the death eaters as he could... but he soon realized that the best thing he could do would be to stick it out. If he ran, he'd be no better than his family and what they did all those years ago...except this time he wasn't afraid of upsetting the death eaters... but afraid that if he ran it would betray the good and innocent. Scorpius wanted to fight the death eaters, he wanted to rid the world of their kind because hate as deep as theirs was not worth keeping around. He knew if he ran it would only add to the sketchy past and history he had always wanted to separate himself from. Scorpius decided to stay to show everyone he wasn't a coward as he his family had been labeled, he was a different breed of person.
When Scorpius graduated, it was his chance to run away without people noticing as much... but he didn't. He stayed around the wizarding community. He began to build up secret friendships and connections with those in the order. He wanted them to know he was on their side. Many of them didn't trust him, they couldn't separate him from his family. Scorpius just had to stick it out. He'd gone his whole life not being liked and accepted so a few more years of that wouldn't hurt.
This year, Scorpius has convinced the death eaters running Hogwarts that he wants to get in their good graces. He is a skilled occlumens so he was able to keep his real intents secret. Scorpius wanted to have a presence on campus so that he could spy on their plans and be there to keep the students safe if more fighting were to breakout on campus. He has become the DADA Professor and is secretly preparing his students for future battles and wars where they will have to protect themselves and their rights.
ACACIA WAND WOOD:A very unusual wand wood, which I have found creates tricky wands that often refuse to produce magic for any but their owner, and also withhold their best effects from all but those most gifted. This sensitivity renders them difficult to place, and I keep only a small stock for those witches or wizards of sufficient subtly, for acacia is not suited to what is commonly known as “bangs-and-smells” magic. When well-matched, an acacia wand matches any for power, though is often underrated due to the peculiarity of it’s temperament. (Potter wiki)
DRAGON HEARTSTRING WAND CORE:Dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be the easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental. (potter wiki)
WAND LENGTH:Eleven and a quarter inches
WAND FLEXIBILITY: Reasonably Supple
OCCLUMENCY:The act of magically closing one’s mind against legilimency. It is ancient, and has existed since medieval times. It can prevent a Legilimens from accessing one’s thoughts and feelings, or influence them. A person who practices this art is known as an Occlumens. (Potter wiki)
NON-VERBAL MAGIC:In which a spell can be performed without saying the incantation out loud. (Potter wiki)
