VOICES WON'T GO AWAY they stay for days and days They say some awful things, ways to make you fade away Things were moving fast, but then again it was probably for the best. No one knew how long the death eaters were going to be gone. No one knew just when they could come back or even if things would still be the same when they did. Who would they get rid of next? The halfbloods such as himself? Were they all going to have to get Dark Marks in order to attend the wizarding school? No one knew the future, and that seemed to be why they all gathered here in a way.
They didn't know the future, but they wanted to make a heck of a difference to it.
Camden pulled out a scroll. A scroll they were all to sign if they wanted to mke a difference, and there was no doubt in Noah's mind. He was going to sign that scroll. He was going to fight. Because what choice did he really have? If he didn't fight it could be him next. He could be the next to disappear. He could be next to be given a detention on the night of a full moon and have to battle his way out of the forest in order to remain alive. To remain human.

 Noah couldn’t help but stare at his cousin as he attempted to tease him about his injury. Did he really think that suggesting, even in jest, that he was stupid enough to actually be trying to get hit by a bludger that could not only end his life, but destroy his opportunity to achieve his dream career of being a professional seeker in a single hit was a wise idea? He muttered something beneath his breath. He would have the last word! Not his cousin although he would very much believe that it wasn’t the case. That small twinge of anger couldn’t be pent up for long however.
“At least I use my head for more than gathering cob webs dear Hugo.”Soon he returned, potions in hand. He was no potions master, not yet anyways. He wasn’t abe to tell what potions they were just by looking at it, but he could tell from the use of his common sense that not only would they help him, but they wouldn’t be the best tasting potions known to mankind. “Okay then… bottoms up!”His lips clamped around the top of the vial which insured that not a single drop would fall to waste. “Gah! What was that stuff?! Diarrhea from a monkey’s ass?!” |

Sooo here's the thing... I start my third and final full year at university next year... unfortionatly that is 4 and a half hours away from where I currently live. So I'm going to be gone for a couple days trying to sort this out as I'm going to be staying at a friend's place. So. Noah had been there. Right there in the Owlry when Mathis entered. He had heard the screaching and the flapping of the owls and panicked. What if it was a Death Eater? What if they had come to torture him? He was a halfblood after all. And they had a bad reputation for torturing halfbloods. not to mention that he was currently wearing muggle clothing. Quickly his eyes scanned the room and he dove into a nearby pile of hay. Hoping that whoever it was... whether they be friend or foe didn't see him.Seconds turned into minutes... minutes that felt like hours and he didn't hear anything more.Surely if the Death Eaters were looking for him, he'd hear something right? Some form of dismay at losing him? Slowly he worked up the courage to stick his head out from the pile of straw and owl pellets and he saw just exactly who it was. Mathis.Out came the boy from his hiding place, pellets through his hair and clinging to his jeans and shirt in places. He didn't care though because his friend was here. He had to be upset. No one hung around here if all they were doing was sending a letter..."Matt... are you okay?"@matty

Noah had been sitting in the common room, studying hard when he had recieved the letter informing him of the meeting. The widest grin he could possibly muster breaking out across his face. Finally! They were finally meeting and doing some good in the world! He could hardly sleep that night, or focus during his classes, but when the time finally came he was bouncy yet careful. He wore muggle clothes. A dark blue plad shirt with a black t-shirt and beige cargo pants.
He hid them however. A midnight black winter cloak was wrapped around his neck. A Ravenclaw crest over where his heart should have been alongside his Prefect badge. It was a shameful day when someone had to hide the way they usually dressed from others. When they're individiality was being squashed by those whom believed themselves superior due to a mark upon their arm and the circumstances of their birth.
And he was sick of it.
His mother had died fighting their requiem. Trying to resist just what they were doing right now. That's why he had to do this. Why he had joined up to fight the group from the inside. To remove their grip upon the school finger by finger. But something wasn't right. Upon his way to the Room of Requirement he had expected to run into several teachers. But instead the corridors were empty. Not one single teacher. This wasn't right. This was in no way right... wait... they couldn't... could they?
"Hey... you guys... you don't think they know about us... do you? I didn't see a single teacher on my way here... the castle is like a ghost town!"

It was all a blur. One moment he had been flying around at practice. Getting on with what his Captain wanted him to work on. And the next thing he knew... he was laying in a hospital bed. He groaned as his eyes flickered. open. shut. open. shut. Pain rocked his body. He couldn't remember the actual event that had caused him to wind up here. Of course, this prefect knew exactly where he was. Exactly who worked here and something told him that he would never live to see this one down. "H-Hugo?" His voice was scratchy. Being forced out of a dry throat. Just how long had he been out? After playing Quidditch for the past four year he had never ever felt like this. He had never ever been injured this badly. He looked around him with a grimace. Where was his cousin?! He cleared his throat before trying just one more time.... "HUGO?!"
Of course, this attempt did very little but leave him in a coughing fit. Just great... coughing, a parched throat, and ribs of fire... well wasn't today a lovely day? It was only then that he noticed the bruising upon his body and began to piece things together. Had he been hit... by a rogue bludger? |
