` THADDEUS ROSIER:  Thaddeus stepped forward immediately when she began to weep. His arms wrapped around her instinctively, holding her close. His head dipped, his lips resting against her hair as he closed his on eyes, rubbing her back. "Trust me, there were days when I didn't think I'd be here much longer." He murmured. When she pulled back slightly, he looked down at her, his brows still furrowed before her hands reached up, exploring his features. His eyes closed at her touch. Oh, how he'd missed this...missed her. "I'm not going anywhere," he cooed, his eyes opening once more to find hers. Her hand had moved to his chest and he held his breath, anticipating her touch. "It...wasn't the Order." He began, reaching for her hand, kissing it. "Witch hunters, actually." His eyes grew distant before becoming darker. "But the group that captured me is no more." His eyes returned to hers before he cupped her face, kissing her tenderly. "You got me through it," He murmured a bit roughly. He didn't need to tell her the details. Every scar on his body was a story and she had a brilliant mind to discover them. He leaned back against her desk, then, reaching for her hand to hold. He didn't want to let go...let her out of his sight. This was still quite surreal for him to comprehend. She was still as stunning as ever...but a bit thin. Like she hadn't been eating. His hand reached out, resting on her waist, his thumb brushing over her hip. "You're beautiful..." he murmured, his eyes searching her face, remembering every freckle and dip in her structure.

` THADDEUS ROSIER: She was beautiful...mesmerizing. It looked like she had hardly grown a day older in the time he was gone. But he was in pain, no doubt. Her push, which he probably deserved, sent a sharp dagger through his core. He shouldn't have even left Mungo's. In fact, he had checked himself out without the doctor's approval. Typical, though. He watched her face as an emotion crossed over her delicate features. Obviously, seeing him in such a state, even if she didn't believe it was really him, had some kind of effect on her. Before Mara, women had come and gone. He had never been held down to a single woman before. But when he met her, when they became betrothed, all of that stopped. He had honored the promise made to her. And although things were from from easy at the beginning, they had grown to care deeply about one another. Thad had chuckled as he stood up, something that only he would do, despite the situation. She wouldn't look at him, her back turned away from him. He understood, but it hurt a bit. He had fought three years for this moment and she didn't even believe that it was him. So, stepping back, he had turned and began to walk towards the door when he heard her voice. A small grin formed before he murmured, "I, Thaddeus, take you to be my friend...my lover...the mother of my children and my wife," He turned around. "I will love you and cherish you, protect you and honor you..." He approached her again, brushing her tears away, murmuring softly. "...in times of sickness and health, in failure and in times of triumph. I am yours...for all of eternity." Brushing a strand of hair out of her face, he kissed her forehead. He wanted to hold her close...afraid to push her too much. "I love you...and I have missed you terribly." His other hand rested on her hip, his eyes scanning over her face. He was back...and he wasn't leaving again.

` THADDEUS ROSIER: Thaddeus furrowed his brows, listening to her speak as he approached her. Obviously, this would come as a shock to her. He was dead...he was supposed to be, but he had made it. Fought to stay alive so that he could return to her, despite the hell that he went through on a daily basis up to this point. "Baby," he murmured, his fingers tracing and remembering every inch of her face. He wiped her tears away, unclenching his jaw as he ran his thumb over her bottom lip. How he wanted to kiss those lips. "It's not magic," his voice was gentle, waiting for her to fully realize that he was actually standing right in front of her. "Baby, it's me...it is. I'm here." Something must've finally clicked in the logical side of her brain and she pushed him away. Hard. Thad let out a sharp breath, his hand immediately moving to where she had pushed. Then pain he felt, knocked him down to his knee, taking a breath. "You don't know how happy it makes me to see that you haven't lost your touch." He chuckled, despite the pain that he felt as he stood back up. "But I'm not going anywhere. I fought three years to come back to you, Mara." He stayed where he was, unbuttoning the top of his shirt to look at the area her hand had come in contact with. He was battered. He approached her again, pulling her hair around to one side. "What do I need to do..? Recite the vows I made to you? Because I remember them." Every word. He dropped his hand to his side. "You're the only reason I'm even here right now. Why I'm alive when I should be dead. And I'm not going anywhere. I'm never leaving you again." His voice was as smooth as ever, despite what he had been through. Taking a couple steps backwards, he tucked his hands into his pockets before turning around to head back towards the door.

` THADDEUS ROSIER: His life before...this...was borderline great. Of course, he had been betrothed, which he hadn't protested, but he grew to love the girl. She proved overtime that she was, in fact, his equal and not just another mindless bobblehead. Mara was driven...intelligent. She had a wicked way with words, but knew just what to do or say to reel him back in. And the past three years...she was the only thing willing him to stay alive. To fight. To keep consciousness. He had left her one evening to go off to fight the Order and...he never made it home to her. They had been taken off guard by a group of...muggles? With artillery, no doubt. Something that non of them had been expecting. Before he realized everything that was going on around him, he had been shot...multiple times. In areas that weren't life threatening, but could be if they were left alone. It was then that something had hit him upside the back of the head, rendering him unconscious. For years...everyday...he was tortured. Minor electrocution. Waterboarding. Beaten. When he wouldn't give answers, it only got worse for him. He wouldn't sell them out...sell his wife out. The only possession of his that remained, was his wedding band. There were periods of time during these three years that he didn't remember. They never told him the day and eventually, he had lost track all together. However, a time came where he'd finally have his chance. Apparently, the Death Eaters hadn't entirely forgotten him. There was a raid of sorts, causing a commotion. Thaddeus was able to get free, his 6'4" stature towering over the little muggles, unarmed and unsure of what to do. He'd eventually murder everyone that had caused him pain and suffering...taking away years of his life...making his wife suffer and mourn for a man that was actually still alive. His wand had still been kept intact. They kept it around, like it'd unleash power for them to use. They were imbeciles. Grabbing it, he apparated to Mungo's, falling to his knees on the floor. He spent several days there, giving them little information about the group that had attacked him. He left as soon as he got the chance, cuts with fresh stitches still on his face. Bruises over the majority of his body. He needed to see her. After having a meeting with the Death Eaters, he had secured a new position, landing him in the inner-circle and as the headmaster. All things that were great and good, but he still hadn't seen her. He had heard of her position at the school and couldn't be more proud. He didn't know if she had moved on...or been with other men. He couldn't blame her. He was gone for so long. Knocking on the door, he heard her voice, letting out a breath. It was literally music to his ears. "Mara," he murmured, walking towards her. His brows furrowed when she turned around. He cupped her face gingerly, his thumbs brushing over her cheeks. "God, I missed you." He wrapped his arms around her, kissing the top of her head.
