Arianna was being polite when she told him that he looked good. She knew that he didn’t put much into his appearance. Not like most of the people in the ministry. She could see that he was rougher and there both older then the last time that she had seen him. But in all fairness, Arianna hadn’t changed all that much herself. Maybe on the outside sure, but on the inside. She was the same old person she was back when she knew him. “thanks” she smiled when he said that she looked good as well.

She didn’t mind that he had interrupted her reading. The truth was, her eyes could actually use the break from reading the small writing that was on the parchment. It wasn’t like she didn’t mind her job. In fact she loved her job. Sure she didn’t know what most of the people around here were up to after work. But she also didn’t care. “Yeah I guess so” she smiled as she nodded her head. Even though they hadn’t seen each other for a while. it was weird how well the pair got along. “Anytime, Xander” Arianna smiled as she looked at him. “It’s not like I expected you too be here straight away. I know what it is like around here and how easy it is to get caught up” she shrugged with a small smile. Arianna knew this all too well. there had been times that she had been so worked up in what she was doing that she has missed things herself there had been a few times that she had missed lunch, and even a few times that she had missed quieten time and had worked back late, not meaning too.

“Who knows” Arianna shrugged as she looked at him. There could have been many reasons why his paperwork ended up on her desk. Ad who knew what those reasons were. It could have been something so simple. Or something darker and bigger. Who knows. Looking around, Arianna gently nodded her head before looking back towards him. “always…” she gently laughed as she looked at him. “But what about you…France? Got to say I am kind of jealous” she gently laughed as she looked at him.

HAYANA OF CAUTION 2.0

The year is 2022 and a new school year for the students of Hogwarts was now into its second month. It was the beginning of November and Arianna Nott was finding out that sixth year was not as cracked up as what it was said to be. Yes she was one year closer to her final year. But she was over the assignments and the constant boring speeches from professor about how they needed to pay attention in class if they wanted to pass. It was only a scare tactic from the professors and Arianna knew this. Though it did make her do her homework on time. So one could imagine that she longed for her short days where she could just sit in her favourite spot and relax. Now not many people know this. But Arianna’s favourite spot was actually in the stands of the quidditch pitch. Laying under the sun on one of the benches and just enjoying the peace and quite. Sure there was a plus on getting to watch the male quidditch players practice, and sometimes shirtless. But that was just a bonus.

And today was a beautiful day and Arianna just needed to get out of the castle. Yes she loved her friend and loved spending time with them. But she needed her space to clear her mind and think. And when she was done, she could do her assignment or study or whatever she needed to get done. Walking out of the castle. Arianna made her way down towards the Quidditch pitch. She didn’t care which tower she sat in. it was just whatever one she happened to walk up. Today, it was the Gryffindor stands. Yes being a Slytherin and all with was odd. But Arianna didn’t care about all that house rivalry stuff. She never had. She found it sad and pathetic and a waste of time.

Looking around as she reached the top of the stand. Arianna walked over to the bench and sat down. Twisting around, Arianna laid her legs down straight on the bench and crossed them as she laid down. Thankful that the snow had not started to fall yet, but it was only a matter of time. Lightly closing her eyes. Arianna enjoyed what warmth the sun had to offer as she began to clear her mind. Not worrying about assignments or classes or anything that was on her mind. Just enjoying the peace and quite. Not even caring if someone showed up.
