Safe and Sound

Angelique "Angi" Seraphine Delacroix is a twenty year old french witch who moved from Paris, France to the UK when she was a tender age of 10. Daughter of a pureblood wizard and a veela, Angi's mother died during childbirth, and her father grieved for 10 years until he met Angi's step-mother in London, and her younger brother was born shortly before her eleventh birthday. Angi's step mother passed away due to illness, and after Angi graduated from Hogwarts, her father disappeared shortly after, leaving her younger brother Jacques, a first year in Hogwarts, in her guardianship.
Angi is a former Ravenclaw who always made her her first priority to set a good example for Jacques. She excelled in her classes, but at the cost of spending more time with books than friends. But in the end, it paid off, as when she was out of school, she began training as an unspeakable, and she has loved her job. But no matter what, the care and well being of her little brother has always come first, which is why she's avoided involving herself in the war. But there's no telling how long that will last.
FRIENDS: Angi didn't have many friends back in school. She spent almost every waking moment studying because she had to work twice as hard to do well in school. While she welcomes anyone and everyone as a friend, it has caused her to get burnt in the past, but she tries not to be jaded about it. Former housemates are always welcome, and fellow Ministry employees are a plus. Or even current students who might know her younger brother, Jac, who is a first year Hufflepuff.
ENEMIES: Having few friends also comes with having few enemies. While it's entirely possible for people to think less of her for remaining neutral in the face of obvious threats, Angi is not a confrontational witch. She prefers diplomatic approaches to conflicts. But don't let her soft nature fool you. All those years of intense studying paid off, and when instincts kick in, you'll see that veela fury.
LOVERS: Being half-veela, Angi is not unfamiliar to the attentions of men. But equally so, she's weary of it. Through her life, she's been flirted with, asked out, and chased after, but in the end, she knew it was only because of what she was, not who she was. So, needless to say, while Angi would have had small, past flings, nothing serious, or at least nothing serious that she was aware of. It would take some convincing from a very determined wizard for her to reciprocate any feelings of romance.
