` EDEN DAVIES:  Well, this was a terrifying situation to be in. Meeting the Potter's and the Weasley's...all together in the same house. Eden held onto James' hand tightly. She was shy in social situations where she knew no one. However, she was still incredibly personable and kind...plus, she had a sense oh humor. That was a necessity, or so she was told by one of the Weasley's. Dominique and Victoire were...freaking gorgeous. Veelas tended to be that way. Letting go of James' hand, she walked into the kitchen. Molly's cookies were divine. Honestly. Newly graduated and interning at Mungo's was a lot to deal with...but having a boyfriend that was a heartthrob was also an interesting job what she was still adjusting to. People were really cruel. They didn't even know who she was, but that didn't stop them from taking pictures and writing articles about them. It was tough. Eden had turned around to lean against the counter when she spotted his little sister. She was only a year younger than she, but they were in different houses and honestly, like with James, they hadn't spoken to one another at school. Eden grinned slightly. "This is a lot to take in," she laughed softly, smiling. "Is everyone usually this nice or do they actually like me?" She thought it was a pretty good question to be asked. After all, her parents, despite their separation, helped the Order. Percy's son, her half-brother, was there, too. Which was...incredibly uncomfortable. It was part of the reason she had opted to hide away in the kitchen.

James settled on a girlfriend?! Lily wasn’t sure how she could handle it. Especially one who he brought on over to their home. Lily wasn’t sure how to feel about the who situation. Would she be losing her brother? She adored the man and didn’t want them to lose their connection. But then again. Would this girl rip him to shreds. What would she do if she came home to her brother on the floor, crushed? The redhead didn’t know what to think other than the fact the James was bringing home a girl, one she wasn’t familiar with. One she had yet approved upon. They spent the whole time attached to each other and Lily sat in the back watching. She had yet actually said anything to Eden. And then Eden let go of James and headed for the kitchen. The redhead smoothly got up and followed her a few minutes later. Lily leaned against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest watching Eden. “When they start getting arguing and stop making an impression is when you’re liked and have the in.” Lily said with no emotion. “They’re nice to everyone who isn’t trying to kill them too.” The girl kept watching Eden.

` EDEN DAVIES: Eden chewed on the inside of her cheek. Apparently this was a big deal. Apparently, he didn't bring home girls to meet his family. So, she was different. It made her feel great, but also like she had this obligation weighing on her shoulders. To please everyone and go out of her way to chat, even though she was a bit shy. James had leaned over to kiss her cheek, making her blush and smile all at the same time. It was then that she had ventured off to the kitchen, in search of food and...well, to hide from her mother's son. Lily was there and...did she hate her? "Oh," she nodded, murmuring softly. She stood there with her arms crossed, just watching her. Eden rubbed her arm awkwardly. "I have a little brother...you might know him. Camden?" She'd try this. She was great with words, with advice, but that didn't mean that anyone actually listened to what she had to say. "I'm protective of him, too...fiercely." She laughed softly, trying a grin. "So, I understand why you would be about James...he's pretty incredible." And she meant it. "I...I really care about him, or I wouldn't be here. And I know how close you two are and that...that won't change. And it shouldn't, no matter who he dates...if he didn't want...to be with me or something." Well, she had just rambled. Eden blushed, wrinkling her nose before moving to get something to drink. She was officially an idiot. Lily was going to think that her brother was dating a loon.

Lily shrugged her shoulders. Davis and Weasleys. There was a little tension there. They were all sort of intertwine because of her uncle and his choices. Should lily judge Eden because of her mother? No, Lily would never judge because of that. But the fact that Eden was such a weakness to James like Lily was, that was the problem. Lily didn’t trust anyone with her family right off the back, it was the survivalist in her. The redhead shrugged. She kind of knew her brother. He was, maybe two years younger than her, but they never spoke. Lily sat back and waited. Eden rambled as much as Scorpius did, one of her childhood friends. So Lily wouldn’t use the word incredible, but she loved her brother more than anything, both her brothers. Her whole family in fact. The redhead listened to the young woman. “You talk a lot.” Lily finally said. The girl uncrossed her arms and picked up a cookie. She bit down on it and chewed a bit. “So, Jay and Alby like to look at me as though I’m this innocent little child.” She started. “Nobody knows what I’m capable of.” She waited a second. “I won’t hurt you, but I won’t protect you in the future if we don’t get a handle on things.” Lily took another bite. “And trust me you want me to protect you.” She nodded and finished her cookie off. “So are you gonna treat me like a baby like the rest did?” Lily gave Eden a look.

` EDEN DAVIES: You talk a lot. That was a first. Where was James again?! Eden shifted slightly. "I talk a lot when I'm nervous. Habit." Eden listened to her talk with slightly wide eyes. Was little sister threatening her? Was this...were they all going to do this?! She stood there, stunned as finished. She had to find her voice. "I'm sorry that you already feel that way about me," she murmured. "I'd protect you because I know how much it would hurt him if something happened to you." Honest truth. She'd hate to see him in pain...any of them, really. "But why would I treat you life a baby if I'm only a year older? I wouldn't belittle your intelligence, I just want to get to know you." Eden grabbed another cookie, stuffing her mouth. This was awkward. Eden tried a grin before she turned to walk back towards where all of the people were. She was sure that her cheeks were red. Pausing, she turned to look at her. "If James calls you a baby or treats you like one again, he really hates wet willies." Smiling, she turned back once more. Hey, she had tried, right?

Yes, she was a lot like Scorpius. It was making it a bit more difficult to be tough around her. But Lily wasn’t just yet done with her. Apparently, Eden wasn’t expecting this from Lily. But then again, Lily just warned her, nobody knew what she was capable of. If James was so serious about Eden, well then Eden should be serious about him, if she wasn’t, Lily was not going to be pleasant. Lily looked Eden up and down. Good start, Eden didn’t want him to hurt. They had one thing in common so far. The redhead took another cookie. “Every girl I’ve met that dated James, no matter the age, has treated me like a child. It’s irritating and well, I don’t like it. Usually I don’t get to the point where I talk to them one on one, since they leave, but you’ve made it to The Burrow.” Lily commented as Eden walked to the kitchen door. She turned back around. Lily smirked. Eden told her what he apparently didn’t like. James hardly ever called her little unless he was being cautious or just mean. But that was only every once in awhile. “Hey Eden.” Lily called out. “Don’t let them intimidate you. They are super great people. And do like you. So chill out. It is a party afterall.” The redhead admitted.
