JUST FOR A MOMENT 577 WORDS black pants, blue shirt, white blazer, black boots see? shorter! |
And so, Lily and Scorpius passed a line they never dared walk. The redhead flirted with him and he flirted back. It continued on to the point where words were mixing with body language. She was facing him completely, hands by her sides instead of crossed over her chest. And in turn, Scorpius reached up and took a gentle hold on a strand of her strawberry blond locks. He played with it and she couldn’t help but feel a bit of electricity pass through them. It made her heart a jump a beat and if she wasn’t well versed in flirting she could have swooned of allow her breath to be caught. But she didn’t, she just smiled up at Scorpius.
Scorpius held no seriousness to what she said. Though, each word made her worry more and more. She believed a bit into her words, there was some truth and with the word they lived it, those words could be incredibly important. But he teased her a bit and it managed to calm her down slightly. The girl raised an eyebrow, “Manipulative? More? How?” she questioned him. Whatever goal that was now focused in his mind was more light and happy than what she could have predicted him to think of. The redhead looked at him curiosly. That was true! Scorpius was a Professor at Hogwarts, but in all honesty, it brought her worry back. There was more and more truth to what she was saying, which was the scary part. “Right, Professor Malfoy.” She joked back trying to keep herself under control. He obviously held something in mind, but she didn’t want to ask. It wasn’t her place to.
Then the unthinkable happened. Scorpius filled up the space between them. He moved forward and closer to her the moment she stood up. Her heart rate began to quicken, her eyes went a bit wide. She had no idea what was going on, she didn’t know how to act. She wasn’t sure what was going on. She was confused and curious, a bad combination for her. She stayed in place and soon a tingling ran up her spine and electricity flowed through her. Thanks to Scorpius placing his hands on her waist. He was touching her and not in the hey we’re friends way. His voice was low and quiet, she couldn’t help but lean a bit closer to hear him better. Cliché plan? Oh yeah, her “prediction”, his goal? What was his goal?
Then he kissed her.
Everything began to make sense from there on out. His lips were on her hers. The blonde kissed her and, Lily felt something?
As soon as it began, Scorpius broke it. Her eyes was still closed, still slow to what was going on. She finally opened her blue green eyes. She blinked a couple of times before her eyes focused on Scorpius. The girl looked at her before touching her lips. She looked at her finger tips. “You, you just kissed me?” it was more of a question. The found herself leaning up against her desk. What did this mean? The girl looked back up before it was her turn closing up the space. She was back in front of him. Lily was on her toes and kissing Scorpius back, an arm wrapped his neck and a hand placed on his chest. Lily didn’t think. She just acted. And then she stopped kissing him. But she didn't move away.

JUST FOR A MOMENT 460+ WORDS black pants, blue shirt, white blazer, black boots :3 |
Lily smiled at him softly. Times were tough and they were managing to find a little joke in the midst of it. She nodded and stifled a giggle by covering her mouth and shaking her head at him. Lily and Tim were always joking. Their connection went way back to when they were younger. He was always older and always teasing her. She was glad they were now joking as equals. The strawberry blonde smiled at her friend and relaxed in the air that was filling the shop. For a moment, they were safe and for a moment, they were younger. It was refreshing. He accepted her gift of pain relief and she was able to ease herself a bit. Knowing he was a bit more happy than upset. It was a comfort. Lily thought differently than Tim on the matter of what was going on. She was a duelist and a fighter. In her mind she didn’t need to be held, she needed to act. She didn’t want to be kept away from them, but to be thrown into the middle of them and fight until her spirit would give out. Lily watched her friend of many eyes and saw the change in her expression and in the air around them.
“Tim, you’re talking about torture, you do know that?” she raised her eyebrows at him. “I do believe you’ll do what ever it takes to get them back, but to go beyond those means and seek revenge.” She shook her head, “I wouldn’t want you to go through that, nor do I think you have it in your heart to do it.” Not even Lily had it in her and she was able to send any and every curse out with the killing curse being the exception. Though in the heat of the moment, Lily was not someone to mess with. “But in the event of a rescue. I’ll be at your side, fighting with you.” She nodded and assured him. Poppy was just as much of a family member to Lily as was Louis. She’d go after them, though she’d want to make sure James could grab a hold of his love.
Lily tore her eyes away from her wand, “Redwood?” she questioned him impressed. “That’s a rare wood to be used for a wand. Extremely powerful in dueling, horrible for potions though.” She twirled the wand in her hand. “Don’t got wandless though, it’ll never forgive you.” She was partially serious about the statement. “Phoenix feather, common in a way. Very powerful, and very much used for good, usually.” She nodded at Tim and flexed the wand a bit. She ran a cotton swab over it and checked the places it got caught on. “But 13, not the best number the way tarots go.” She shrugged her shoulders at him before handing it back. “It’s a strong wand and shows it, it’s still as good as ever.” She nodded to him.

JUST FOR A MOMENT 942 WORDS black pants, blue shirt, white blazer, black boots okay i promise that was the last long post... |
Her green eyes lingered on Scorpius for a moment. It was amazing that they could just be a bit childish when all hell was breaking loose. It was a small moment. She felt slightly more than just content. It made her a bit curious. Lily looked away from him and back at her main focus, wands.
Lily would glance up every now and then when she spoke. She wanted to see his reaction to the words she spoke. She was giving him a lot of information, maybe some that he wasn’t comfortable hearing. But in the end, her asked and Lily was answering. There was a smile. He was a bit nonchalant until he heard the fact that mastering a spell with his wand meant talent. Lily had managed to give him an ego boost. Lily smiled lightly over her words. Scorpius had a nice smile. It wasn’t his smile he normally gave her when they teased each other. And it wasn’t the smile he gave to anyone. It was a smile that showed her was proud of the comment. Or at least, that was what she was understanding. Reading wands were one thing, reading people? More complicated.
He laughed at her calling him stubborn, but in all honesty, that was a trait she knew to be true in Scorpius. It was trait they shared with each other. Nether could give up on something they thought enough about.
Lily started it. She sometimes never knew how to control it. She just said the first thing that would come to mind, or at least give body language without thinking it through. For heaven’s sake, she just flirted with her childhood friend. It wasn’t an odd thing for Lily, but it was Scorpius… That fact seemed to make it different. Lily smirked at him. She may have started it, but he didn’t finish it. Lily couldn’t help it. Her green eyes trailed him up and down, twirling the stick like object in her hand. She then spoke again. “Well then, maybe you should show me sometime.” It was out of her mouth before her thoughts could catch up. “Then I’ll know.” Lily raised an eyebrow at him before drawing her attention back to his wand… the one he brought from Ollivanders years ago.
Scorpius expression didn’t change, the room felt smaller some how. What she said was serious. The core could go either way. And so could Scorpius. Lily knew where he stood. At least she had an understanding of what he was doing. But he was in with the Death Eaters too, sort of. Who knew what influences would attach to her friend.
She smiled, “Numbers are powerful Mr. Malfoy. Just like words and stars and magic.” She told him. Who knew if it was right, it was just loosely connected, but it was fun any way. “The card of Justice. Means, impartial, dstant, cold, objective, clever, critical, insensivite, decisive, intelligent, analytical, realist, sense of responsibility, rational, has a clear vision, logic and reason.” That was the first card. Eleven. Or at least was describes it. “So you have a goal, one that you will not change your mind on because in you, you know it to be right in every sense of the word.” she then muttered stubborn and gave him a teasing grin. “Next would be The Magician.” She wiggled her eyebrows at him, “You have a conscious, which means you're no bad guy. Action driven. Centered concentration, a personal power, practical. Creative, energetic, precise. You have conviction. Manipulative, self confident.” Lily rolled her eyes at him, teasing him once more. “Focused, objective, determined. “ The girl waited a moment. “So you have a goal you are immovable on, but you won’t sit back on it. You are going to act on it and work on it. And you are going to use every ounce of yourself and not back down, no matter the need to achieve it.” It was a pretty general reading. Lily did well in divination. She knew enough to trick a muggle and word a phrase to apply to everyone, but the more she thought about the words she said, and pictured Scorpius, she found herself believing in her theory. “And last, four. The emperor.” The girl ranked through her mind for that one. “You are fatherly.” Lily gave Scorpius a look, “stable, holds authority, power, control. You have discipline, command and common sense, a status quo too. There is order, structure, organized, egocentric!” Lily went off in a fit a giggles. “Okay that one has! To be true.” She covered her mouth and looked at Scorpius amused. “A bit rigid, someone for tradition. Leadership is in there oh and the word experience comes to mind.” Another wink was thrown his way. “Inflexible and conservative.”
“Scorpius Malfoy. You have a goal. A goal you feel strongly about. This goal is truer to you than the sky is blue. This is a goal your willing to act on, something that takes time and care. You won’t back down from it and you won’t change your mind, no matter what. You have a plan. It may be a cliché plan, but you have one and you are already acting on it. You don’t care what it will take, but you will finish it. Or at least die trying…” Lily stood up and looked around her work place. Magic and numbers were an incredible thing. Who knew what she said was true. If it were, she learned a lot more about the boy in one sitting starting at a piece of wood than speaking to him through the years. Lily looked at Scorpius, “How’d I do?”

So maybe announcing her next spell was a tad bit of a bad idea. Declan was able to deflect her spell easily but his buddy didn’t have the pleasure. How did everyone know who she was? It couldn’t be that obvious. The girl smirked at Owen.
The floor rumbled and Lily stood her ground, planting her feet. Lily’s eyes shot at Declan. She looked at him like he was insane. He was attacking the wall? Slowly things were coming in. The girl picked up her left hand and pointed it at Declan. She then raised her right arm at the other boy. She held both wands in hand and her mind was clearing about what she needed to get done first.
That Owen kid needed to shut up first.
After his speech Lily raised her wand and gave it a flick spending the silencing spell aimed at him mouth, begging the heavens it would hit him."A snake charmer, how lovely." Lily muttered. She then thought Avis and a flock of birds began leaving her wand, heading for the snake slithering after her. Her attention went back to Declan, unaware of the fact that, the woman she saved earlier was returning the favor by sending a black smoke to the snake. Her biggest concern was not her own well being, it was that of the others in opposing floors and rooms. Her eyes were trained on him.
Why couldn’t the good looking guy be a good guy? Was Lily’s first thought. He was smiling at her. If they weren't in their current situation, that could definitely be a smile that would make the strawberry blonde melt. But as luck served her, they were enemies trying to defeat the other.
Lily ignored the woman. Probably an idiotic move on her part. She was soaked in blood and in a room full of vampires. Lily was bound to get killed. “Can’t leave. Won’t leave. Not yet.” Lily breathed to her with a shake of her head. "I'm going to help you fight." She was a Weasley and Potter mix, it was no surprise she was staying put. Lily wasn’t one for killing. She didn’t have it in her to point and kill. But she wasn’t against giving a little pain. There was hardly a movement in her wrist when Lily focused on the wand point at Declan. There was one thing on her mind. She was going to send him a taste of his own medicine. Crucio. Was the spell she thought.

Lily could clearly see pain on Timothy’s face. They apparently did a number on his knee. And since most healing is put on hold, thanks to the attack, many didn’t get a solid cure or heal. Lily held a large slash across her chest and back. She managed to snag a potion and cream for lacerations before leaving Mungo’s. She used it to close the wounds and dispersed it to other wounded. She then went home and made another potion to heal the scarring. In the end it’ll hardly be noticeable, but it will still be there. Lily looked at Tim. He seemed a bit awkward and pretty much stuck his foot in his mouth. Instead of toturing him about it, Lily chuckled softly. “No kidding, Weasleys are so close to world domination! No point in halting that any time soon.” The girl played along.
Lily glanced at Timothy. She walked around the counter and leaned up against it. She sighed a bit. “Just a little. Mild concusion. Laceration on my chest and back. Pretty much healed, and scars almost gone. Thank the heavens for potions!” she smiled weakly at him. The first laceration was to her chest and the second to her back. If either were deeper than they would be fatal. Lily got off lucky. “Hey, I have a cream I made the other night for my pain that I don’t need anymore. You can rub it on your knee, it might help.” She gave him a soft smile, Lily was always trying to help.
Lily took a deep breath. Not everyone was as lucky as Lily or Tim. “Victoire and Dom are all over it. We know where he is, we know where most of them are. Just a matter of getting them back in one piece is the issue.” She nodded. “My main concern is Eden, James’ love. It’s her and my newphew or niece that are in danger the most. Eden can’t make too many risks being pregnant.” She sighed. There were so many helping out, everyone was pretty much covered. But her mind was always set on her brother and his love and their baby, especially the baby. “We’ll get them back, I’m sure of it.” She nodded with a big grin. No way to get Lily down and discouraged.
"Okay where's that wand? Wood? Length? Core? Flexibility? What am I dealing with?" She questioned him.

Lily smirked. “Hey, never said anyone is at fault.” The girl bumped his shoulder back. Lily was pretty content. Was she overly happy? Only when one of her wands were picked or one wand was finished. But companionship was never her biggest priority. Not to mention, she didn’t really have a list of people she’d want to chose from. It was too dangerous just dating strangers and well, dating friends were tricky. Actually dating in general during this time was complicated. Yet, Lily didn’t dwell too much on it. Like stated before, she was content and content was great during this era.
Lily was bound to become Old Mr Ollivander one day. She had an amazing memory and something she is completely focused on, it wasn’t hard to remember. That and she wrote it down in her book of wands. She’d write down the wand she created, the name it belonged to and then stored it. It was mostly incase it ever came back in for help. Who knew how long her memory would last. But that was another thing she didn’t dwell on.
The girl took out her wand and gave it a wand. The fire and smoke was gone, but the box was hopeless. She picked it up and tossed it into the trash bin next to the desk she worked at. “Always. Can’t except me to baby you.” She gave a shrug of her shoulders. Lily mostly said what she thought or what was fact. She never paid attention if it was brutal or not. But in this case, Scorpius was jut teasing her, so she teased him back. Lily raised her eyebrows at him. Becoming of it. “So if I had a thing for only guys, does that make me not very becoming?” she challenged him. It was a fair question to his comment.
Then Scorpius had a challenge for her. Lily took a seat in her chair and took his wand. The girl ran a hand over it, her eyes frowned a bit. “Should I be brutally honest?” Lily smirked at him before looking back at the wand. She held it in her finger tips and observed it. Before giving it a wave. A box popped off it’s place. Lily gave him a look after he made his last comment and giggled a bit.
“Well, you’re wand is made out of a not so common wood.” Lily placed it on the desk and let it roll. “Texture, color and weight says this is from Africa, Acacia. But since it isn’t a wand pass down means this piece of wood actually came from Europe itself.” She sat back and folded her arms. “That wood, well, it’s a difficult sort to use, meaning, most wands made out it tend to be rigid, inflexible, sturdy or supple.” She picked up his wand again and flexed it by holding each end of it. “Supple. Means, you probably had more trouble learning a spell than someone with a flexible wand. So, if you can master a spell with this wand, means you’re talented. And stubborn, but determined and ambitious.” She put the wand back down.
“Scorpius, you have a lot to prove. Tricky wand wood and dragon heartstring?” the girl folded her hands on her lap. “Dragon heartstring produces power, also very flashy wand work.” She winked at him before continuing on. “But, it levels the playing field since it’s a core that can be easily used. Temperamental though. Funny enough.” Lily shrugged and picked up her measuring tape. “Interestingly enough, knowing your family history and the way you grew up, the core is perfect. It doesn’t have an affinity for light magic or dark magic, it can adapt to either.” She looked at Scorpius, “A boy, born to a pureblood family, filled with dark arts but eventually found a spot in the good. Not exactly siding with them, but not exactly siding with us. For the most part, neutral, but can go any way.” She knew he was trying to keep his social standing incriminating. Lily Potter was not dumb. The strawberry blonde took the tape and measured the wand on her desk. “Did you know wandlore could be linked to divination, a prediction of who the holder could become. You can use tarots to figure out what the lengths mean. More symbolism than anything, but some times, it fits.” She handed him his wand. “Eleven, the card of Justice, One, the card of The Magician, Four, the card of the Emperor. Want to know what the cards mean?” she titled her head looking at him curiously.

Vampires, werewolves and Death Eaters, oh my. There was blood. Blood was everywhere. The girl’s vision was blurred but when she touched her chest and looked at her fingers she could see the red. The girl moaned a bit and touched her head. Well that hurts. Hurts a lot. Where was she? Oh right. Lily scurried up so quickly it made her head swim some more. She was in the middle of a battle. A battle! The girl looked around, she was missing a wand. She had her one in her right hand, but her left hand was empty. It was not supposed to be empty. Lily raised her wand. In a moment, another wand whizzed into her empty hand. That was when Lily’s focused came back. Lily gave one of the men a glare. Before another vampire was with her. Her wand went up to it blasting it back before she pointed her other wand at the creature stabbing the woman. The strawberry blonde looked around for the boys who jinxed her. Lily had a wand pointed at each of them. “Which spell should I use next?” She raised an eye at them. “How about one that cuts you two open? Hmm? That’s ones, like, totally fun.” She said sarcastically before she waved both wands at them, sending a spell at each.

Lily scoffed. “You can’t believe I can make one of these?” She bumped his shoulder lightly. “I’ve been making them since the end of my first year working her.” The girl beamed, “No social life, no love life, just work!” The girl said seeing no problem in the matter. The red head just loved what she was doing and because of it, she had many wands at home that worked for her and only her. Lily was definitely equipped with the brains and talent for this sort of thing. She just absolutely loved it. She couldn’t ask for a better job. She got to play with wandlore, magic and art. It was the best package. And she was never embarrassed to show her work. She did a great job after all, it kept her Death Eater enemies at bay, that was for sure. Lily looked at him, “Good.” She grinned. “So the black wood is from Australia, it’s great for potion making and summoning charms. Lots of Hufflepuffs tend to buy this kind. As for the holly, bad for hexes and curse but brilliant against dark magic! I’ve sold the holly wands to most Gryffindors lately.” She nodded giving him more back ground.
“As for the mermaid scale. Or hair. Is a bit of temperamental sort of core, and very rare. Lucky enough, there is a merperson who was quite fond of my father and doesn’t mind supplying me. Perfect for Herbology or Potions, favors water based spells. Since it’s a mermaid I received it from, it’ll work better for a woman.” She nodded. “Eleven inches is more someone that leans toward more of a Ministry future and it’s also inflexible, meaning, it’s super powerful but makes it difficult to master a spell.” She nodded. Lily raised an eyebrow at the comment about nursing him back to health. “Trust me.” She told him before Scorpius took the wand and wave it. She watched the box float and then explode. The girl cheered and clapped her hands together. “Perfect!” the girl looked at him. “No more tweaking. This wand is made more for a woman, most likely a potioneer destined for Mungos or a female Auror for the Ministry.” She nodded taking the wand from him and putting it into a box. “It would have never worked for you Score.” She wrote a incredibly high price on the box and out it on a shelf. “Wands pick their masters. Not every wand with aid you.” Lily told him in all honesty.

@angelique && CALLUM MATTHEW O'MALLEYWell his wife was a muggleborn. So unless she was a muggleborn then hey yeah, but more likely she worked with somene in Angie's family and Cal sort of knew her that way. @angelique && PERRY JACKSON SMITHOh goodness, Perry would probably find the kid annoying. And Perry isn't the best role model, but hell, maybe the kid would learn a thing or two and Angie can send Perry annoying owls about him. @angelique && LILY LUNA POTTERLily wouldn't deal with drama so they could be chill or they could not talk. @angelique && ROSE HARLOW WEASLEYThey could be study buddies back in school, but don't give her sympathy she ignores it.

Yes, she was a lot like Scorpius. It was making it a bit more difficult to be tough around her. But Lily wasn’t just yet done with her. Apparently, Eden wasn’t expecting this from Lily. But then again, Lily just warned her, nobody knew what she was capable of. If James was so serious about Eden, well then Eden should be serious about him, if she wasn’t, Lily was not going to be pleasant. Lily looked Eden up and down. Good start, Eden didn’t want him to hurt. They had one thing in common so far. The redhead took another cookie. “Every girl I’ve met that dated James, no matter the age, has treated me like a child. It’s irritating and well, I don’t like it. Usually I don’t get to the point where I talk to them one on one, since they leave, but you’ve made it to The Burrow.” Lily commented as Eden walked to the kitchen door. She turned back around. Lily smirked. Eden told her what he apparently didn’t like. James hardly ever called her little unless he was being cautious or just mean. But that was only every once in awhile. “Hey Eden.” Lily called out. “Don’t let them intimidate you. They are super great people. And do like you. So chill out. It is a party afterall.” The redhead admitted.

Lily shrugged her shoulders. Davis and Weasleys. There was a little tension there. They were all sort of intertwine because of her uncle and his choices. Should lily judge Eden because of her mother? No, Lily would never judge because of that. But the fact that Eden was such a weakness to James like Lily was, that was the problem. Lily didn’t trust anyone with her family right off the back, it was the survivalist in her. The redhead shrugged. She kind of knew her brother. He was, maybe two years younger than her, but they never spoke. Lily sat back and waited. Eden rambled as much as Scorpius did, one of her childhood friends. So Lily wouldn’t use the word incredible, but she loved her brother more than anything, both her brothers. Her whole family in fact. The redhead listened to the young woman. “You talk a lot.” Lily finally said. The girl uncrossed her arms and picked up a cookie. She bit down on it and chewed a bit. “So, Jay and Alby like to look at me as though I’m this innocent little child.” She started. “Nobody knows what I’m capable of.” She waited a second. “I won’t hurt you, but I won’t protect you in the future if we don’t get a handle on things.” Lily took another bite. “And trust me you want me to protect you.” She nodded and finished her cookie off. “So are you gonna treat me like a baby like the rest did?” Lily gave Eden a look.

James settled on a girlfriend?! Lily wasn’t sure how she could handle it. Especially one who he brought on over to their home. Lily wasn’t sure how to feel about the who situation. Would she be losing her brother? She adored the man and didn’t want them to lose their connection. But then again. Would this girl rip him to shreds. What would she do if she came home to her brother on the floor, crushed? The redhead didn’t know what to think other than the fact the James was bringing home a girl, one she wasn’t familiar with. One she had yet approved upon. They spent the whole time attached to each other and Lily sat in the back watching. She had yet actually said anything to Eden. And then Eden let go of James and headed for the kitchen. The redhead smoothly got up and followed her a few minutes later. Lily leaned against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest watching Eden. “When they start getting arguing and stop making an impression is when you’re liked and have the in.” Lily said with no emotion. “They’re nice to everyone who isn’t trying to kill them too.” The girl kept watching Eden.

Work had been crazy! Ever since the last battle, everyone alike was willing to talk to Lily. The red was supplying new wands to muggleborns and the “blood traitors” in secret and then fixing the wands of those Death Eaters walking into her store. Of course, they didn’t have much control yet, but most people had to admit: Lily Potter was one of the finest wand makers around and being so young as well. Death Eaters would be insane to get rid of her, they needed her so far and had no one else to go to unless they travelled outside of the country.
Work orders piled on her counter. Half done, half from this morning. There was just so much to do, she began taking her work home. The girl was currently mending the wood of a certain dark wizard’s wand. He paid a lavish price for the job to the point where, even Lily couldn’t make a rude comment. The girl had her magical and muggle tools out along with one of her many personal wands. This one was specifically set aside for wand work because of its characteristics. The girl filled the cracks in the wand with an herb and then tapped it with her wand. She then wrapped it in a wet cloth and put it in a box. She just needed to wait an hour.
And then she heard it. The redhead looked up. A wide smile that was on her face fell a bit. Not because of the name but the state of who said it. She shook her head and gave him a look. “Well if it isn’t Tiny Tim.” She threw back at him. “Bloody hell, you could actually give the real Tiny Tim a run for his money in the limp!” The girl took her stool and brought it around the counter. Her injuries were now just scars thanks to magical healing. She sat it down. “What did you do to your wand?” She put her hands on her hips. “The only reason anyone comes in anymore is for wand work.” She raised an eyebrow, “Should we be looking for a new one?”
