Alpha Greyback, I suppose it might be interesting news to one of your stature but I am afraid your information is quite outdated. I have been a member of the werewolf ranks for many moons now. Yes, I do recall our meetings as well as your name. Your father caused my old department a lot of problems, you know. What say I? I say I would need to hear what you have to offer me. You know of my skills, of my strength, and -if your informant has any skill- of my weakness. But this tells me nothing of what joining your pack would do for me. Charles,
It’s not that my information is outdated or that my informant is incompetent… I have a lot more pressing matters than sending owls to a Hogwarts Profesor. But, I think it’s time you’ve joined a pack. My pack. Not my father’s pack. I have a mission that is much different than his. My father has given me much in this world but I want something more. He wants to suck up to the death eaters and be their little pet. I don’t care much for death eaters and their ways. I’m not about to kiss their asses or do trick for them either. I want to build a werewolf empire. Something that we can be proud of. An empire where werewolves unite and are seen for their power and their strength.

Alpha Greyback, If you are truly different than your father I would be interested to hear your case in my joining of your pack. I would enjoy hearing more of your plans of an empire, if nothing else. (Have no fears, I have no desire to create any sort of pack or empire or anything of that nature to call my own.) Perhaps this would be a matter best discussed further in person. I have questions for you that you might wish to remain unable to be captured by the Death Eaters that control the school. I'm sure you know of them. Is there a neutral ground you would deem fit to discuss this in? I imagine you would not want to conduct business in the grounds your father still claims. Hog's Head, for example?
