rooftop of st. mungo's
description of event
when matthieu carrow arrived to the battle, he had a run in with his sister, priscilla carrow. she was shocked by his appearance when he began to help order members and threw a jinx his way which caused him to be sent back into a door, breaking the door and breaking his left wrist. poppy longbottom had made a run for the ward, having snuck out of hogwarts to help her parents and grandparents. however, jackson flint levitated a piece of metal before throwing it in her direction, impaling her in the stomach. charlie finnigan, having dealt with the death of her youngest sister, helped the girl up to the rooftop in an attempt to heal her. she has small cuts from when glass shattered from a chandelier in one of the rooms. as for tiberius, he was involved in the explosion of the second floor and limped his way up the stairs to the rooftop. his large gash was recently gained from death eaters above st. mungo's, who are on broomsticks. one death eater just started a fire on the rooftop, a large beast in the figure of the fire, starting its way to the group which are all gathered around the healer.

Poppy had walked in on Victoire Weasley getting ready for something that required her to be leaving the castle and she gathered that it was going to be something big when she saw that Victoire was dressed in jeans and a shirt rather than her usual girlie dresses... that and the fact Victoire was just about to hold onto what looked like a portkey. Without much thought Poppy ran forward and grabbed onto Victoires cloak just as she left and within seconds everything became a blur. One minute she was in professor Weasleys office and next she was outside of st mungos. She looked to Victoire with worried eyes and bit her lip. "Professor... I didn't realize you were coming here... what is going on? my gramps and gran are in there!" she said, her voice wobbling just a little.
Victoire shouted something at her in french before putting a hand on the girls shoulder. "Keep yourself safe poppy" she said before disappearing inside, leaving Poppy on her own outside. She took a deep breath before pulling her wand from her jeans pocket and running inside st mungos, frantically looking around for some kind of sign as to where her grandparents would be. There was no denying that Poppy was absolutely terrified... there were injured people everywhere and she was constantly ducking to try and avoid passing curses and hexes. She made her way towards her grandparents ward, practically sprinting the whole way, ducking down right to the ground a few times to try and keep herself safe. She was almost to the door... almost there when her eyes landed on Jackson Flint, a death eater. Suddenly she tried to turn around and bolt the other way but before she could even turn around she felt something sharp pierce right through her stomach and the pain was so intense that her legs gave away and within seconds she was laying on her back staring at the ceiling with tears streaming down her face. She could feel the warmth of her own blood soaking her shirt and without really thinking about it she screamed for help, although her voice was too weak to really make much of an impact in the chaotic noise that was already filling the ward.
It was then that she tried to pull the metal out of her stomach and that caused her to grit her teeth and whimper some more, blood flowing more freely now. She then decided that if she pulled it out completely she would likely bleed to death so instead she left the metal sticking out of her stomach, hoping that someone would be coming to help her soon. Her mind drifted to Perry as she laid there drifting in and out of conciousness... he was the boy that she had always wanted to be with and now it felt as if they were never going to get a chance to be together and on that thought Poppy closed her eyes and let the darkness completely take over as she passed out.
And if you're still breathing you're the lucky ones. cause most of us are heaving through corrupted lungs. |

` MATTHIEU CARROW :  matthieu had a run in with his sister, who sent a curse which broke his left wrist. she had such anger in her eyes when she had seen him defending order members. it was clear as day, whose side he was on. matt had betrayed his family by running off three years ago. him being part of the order just drove the stake more into the family. a carrow had never been part of the order until matt had decided to join them. it was something that was unheard of and it showed in her eyes. he had sent a spell back at her though she was already gone. matt had made it up to the rooftop where there was death eaters on broomsticks, firing jinxes and curses from above at anyone on the rooftop. he saw a girl laying on the ground with metal sticking out of her stomach, soaked in blood. he made his way to her, throwing his own curses at the death eaters, who attempted to throw a curse at either of them. when he made it to the girl, he pointed his wand at her wound, muttering a healing spell. it would slow down the bleeding, but he didn't know what else to do since he wasn't highly proficient in healing spells. for now, he could at least protect her as best as he could until someone showed up with the skills to heal someone or until he was good enough to apparate her to any hospital in another country, if needbe. he stood up and sent a curse towards a death eater, who had flown nearby them. the death eater fell off the broom onto the ground, suffering from being tortured. he eventually let up on torturing the death eater and used another curse on the death eater. matt said, "petrificus totalus" with his wand pointed at the death eater. the death eater appeared to freeze. while he may have been a order member, he was someone who still used curses. he didn't resort to them as his first option, but at the rate that the battle was going, it was necessary to rely on curses more. he turned to walk back over to the girl when a death eater lit the roof on fire, on the other side of the roof from there. someone had to heal the girl and quick, so they could move.
