there's a monster standing
WHERE YOU SHOULD BE
Scarlet had been working her butt off for the past few weeks, night after night she danced and now she was just plain hungry. Scarlet wants one thing more than anything and that’s blood. Scarlet just needed the blood to survive, she had been having nothing for the past week. The young woman felt weak and she had no blood bags left. Her eyes searched and found an old woman in Knockturn Alley. The woman was begging for money and though Scarlet couldn’t scent anything supernatural on her it would be a shame to let the old lady live like this. The woman walked up behind her, snapped her neck and dug her teeth in it.
Scarlet felt the blood sipping down her throat as she drained this woman to the last drop she possessed. Scarlet felt no remorse, no pity just pure salvation and satisfaction. This woman needed her death more than she needed her life and Scarlet just gave her that. The woman cleaned up the body and walked into the bar licking the last remains of the blood from her lips. Scarlet had no intention to socialize and so she just sat down on a chair in front of the bar itself.
Her black hair draped on her pale shoulders. Things just went south with her again, darkness filled her heart as she just took another useless life. People were not meant to grow useless to her. Scarlet wasn’t going to let that happen, after all, what happens if her brother shows up still human and she is 20 forever. Things shouldn’t work like that, ever. The woman ordered a fire whiskey and looked at her hands not caring who else was in this bar.
People of all kinds showed up here, good , bad, annoying.. all of them. Though she could care less about the people around her right now, Scarlet just wished she could feel something for people instead of seeing them as food sources. The woman took the glass that had been shoved her way and threw some coins on the bar. This would be her only drink for tonight before heading out to visit her home town. It was just easier to take some food on the road than stacking them here.
Her mood wasn’t pretty high and she seriously wasn’t looking for company but she often wondered if joining the death eaters would be so bad if she actually hung out with them. She never even talked to them ever since they lured her into their web of politics and revenge. They have this blood purity thing going on and yet they need supernaturals to do their dirty work. Well done mankind, you did yourself a favor by making a deal with the devil’s demons.
Someone sat down next to her and she could care less once again, it wasn’t like she owned the seats. She looked the person over and the person didn’t look like a creep whatsoever.
“ you lost?”
