”I’M THE KING! SHOW ME SOME RESPECT!” His office walls bore the colors of the Slytherin house colors as well as pictures of historical monuments from across the world. It was a small but nice sized enough office and close to the Minister’s, only feet away. The dark Thornwood desk held many papers and files on it from ranging to new propaganda to be distributed by the Ministry to latest reports from all different departments to help advice the Minister. He took his position seriously, seeing it as the ultimate breakthrough moment for him to meet the most influential and powerful people in the wizarding world. Dressed in a black suit with a green tie on he walked into the office taking a seat behind the desk moving through the files. Alia has been rather secretive about her recent trips thought Elroy as he stroked his chin and leaned back into his chair.
He had deep admiration and respect for his former boss, the head of the department of mysteries but knew she was rather a secretive and manipulative in many ways. He had talked to her and she had let slip her recent travels to the Americas, which to him was out of the ordinary. Kicking his feet up he leaned the chair back all the way as he stared off into the celling wondering what she was keeping from him. After working for her for so longer before she helped him get this job, he knew when she was hiding something or telling it straight; something she rarely did.

W illiam was not really the sort of man that would have become a teacher if he'd had any other choice. Being surrounded by children and idiots and people he didn't care about in one form another. No. He missed his old job of being able to run freely in the woods even as a human, protecting himself and whatever feral beast he was after from other people that might kill a werewolf just for neglecting a potion. Hell, he missed being able to walk unassisted by his cane. But neither was something he could have again now that he was bitten. Not that he truly hated the bite. No, he'd wanted to be a wolf since he was a little boy and being granted it wasn't something he'd ever hate. Even if he wished the wolf that bit him could have not made his leg a chew toy in the process. But since his days were now filled with paperwork of the Hufflepuff house and long hours spent among children, when he wasn't talking to one of the members of his new pack, he found himself bored. Which is why when an owl came from Elroy asking for assistance on a text, William jumped at the chance to leave the castle. Dressed in an unusual choice of black dress slacks, deep blue pinstrip shirt, and an equally black vest he gave the appearance of a friend stopping directly after work to see to casual business. Nothing to warrant suspicion or cause another to give him more than first glance. No hint of what house he might once have been a part of. Still was a part of. William walked slowly through the halls he once worked at, cane echoing quietly against the marble flooring. Thoughts centered around seeing this text and what information he might gain from trade of skills. He emptied his mind behind the mental walls he had taught himself, not wanting to take the chance that anything might be discovered while in a building of Death Eaters. As he neared Elroy's office he allowed a small smile on his face. "Is this what you trade your old job for? I must admit I care more for your space than what I have at the castle." Information freely given because it was already known, words falling easily as he stood at the open doorway to Elroy's office. The work space for a man that was not his enemy nor a true friend. But someone -like Alixander- that he liked well enough. "I think it is the chair that makes it seem so nice. I will have to get one for my desk later."

”I’M THE KING! SHOW ME SOME RESPECT!” As his mind ventured into the different thoughts about what his old boss was keeping from him he paid no attention to the sound of a cane echoing across the marble floors off the hallways. He was so wrapped up in the thought that there was something she felt he did not need to know as such, it made him to believe she did not want the Minister to know. This is troubling for anyone involved he thought than he heard a familiar voice ring out from the doorway. He looked over to see William Charles standing in the doorway the man was not a friend or was he an enemy. He was merely a good network connection and one with mutual respect and agreements with each other. If only all factions had a William he thought flashing his signature grin of his, as he took his feet of his desk and motioned for the Professor to take a seat. ”This job has it’s other perks as well…plus this is just the beginning” he spoke as he got up and went to a small skinny bookcase at the back of the room removing a small brown book labeled Advanced Ancient Runes.
”It’s a nice chair you can have it you know I prefer my more throne like chair. If you ever saw what Ms. Yves had her snake throne chair” he commented with a small smile as he opened the book up to a page with some runes on it and pointed at one showing it to the older man. ”I believe it’s Egyptian maybe something to do with the pharaohs but it’s been a long time since I’ve studied in this field …I’m hoping you can help” as he spoke he looked up from the book and at the man hoping he could help decipher what it truly says. His thoughts on it were something to do with the pharaoh’s power or rule over the people but he could be wrong like he said. He knew the man in front of him knew more about the subject than he did making him his best choice instead of trying to find someone in Egypt he could trust and know what it meant.

W hile William did not care for his job -namely because his job didn't involve forests and did involve messy children- he did care for loyalty. A true Hufflepuff trait. When he aligned himself with his alpha he was willing to go along with the plans of the werewolf empire. William himself did not care one iota for power beyond what he had but if the man he would give advice to desired it than William thought it best if he got all the information he could. Information on current werewolf territories, shifts of power, and any possible personal information that might be surrounding the alpha. Maybe he didn't trust the man but he'd be damned if he got blind sided just because he didn't know something that was of import. The blue eyed wolf nodded at Elroy's words, once again leaving the small half smile on his lips. He made his way slowly to the chair opposite of the man's desk, sitting down on his seat while leaning his cane against the arm. "A throne? Really, Elroy, you should know better than to blatantly display your desires in front of those who might not know of it." There was a pause before the wolf gave his own signature half smile in return. "I would put it in your home instead." With that he turned his attention to the book in the man's hands. Eyeing the cover and listening to the words being spoken. While it was true William had kept up on the studies (and not for the sake of his students) he was not as well versed in the Egyptian runes as he'd lead people to believe. It was rare that anyone ran across them anymore. At least what with his line of work. No one cared about fancy scripts when there were giant spiders at their throats. "I would take a look and see what it says, if you would do something for me in return?" William didn't feel he needed to ask but it was always better not to presume. Better not to look like you were presuming at least. His hands stayed stationary in his lap, back relaxed against his chair, to continue the appearance of non-presumption. He'd wait for the other to hand over the book while they discussed the exact cost of William lending a trusted hand.

”I’M THE KING! SHOW ME SOME RESPECT!” He gave a little smile and laugh as the man gave him a lesson of subtleness on displaying his goals right up front for everyone. He knew the man was correct in what he said about not putting the throne chair in his office where everyone could see but he was sure people already knew the man was ambitious and driven for power and influence. Of course not to the degree at which he fantasized about in that pretty little head of his. A little grin escaped as the wolf told him he should instead put it in his house, he nodded at the idea decided he would do that. ”The house is under a little renovation but you should come by after it’s done. I’m sure you’ll love some of the stuff” he said in his casual calm tone looking at him and then back down to the book. As soon as he thought he would soon get the answer he wanted to see if it was truly what he had been hoping to discover and link to his other studies it was thwarted.
Alterative plans a favor William had presented itself as an obstacle in his quest for his knowledge of the runes. He was sure the favor had something to do with the wolf pack William had recently joined he believed the man’s name was Hadrian not one he knew of great hand having more dealt with William instead for meetings. He leaned back in his chair leaving the book open and on his desk as he put his hands in the air as in motion for William to proceed with the favor request. ”I’m always willing to help when able…what is it you need?” he asked before waving his hand at a passing staff worker to close his door, once the door was closed his eyes diverted back to Williams waiting for the response so he could get over the road block.

A s a wolf that favored subtle strategy and kept his cards close to his chest, William was sure that he would hate those who might display their ambition so blatantly. However it seemed he surrounded himself with men like Elroy and Hadrian. William took a moment while his companion laughed to mourn the fact he took up any sort of relations with men that wanted to rule their worlds. But in the end it was men like that which appealed to the sly wolf. Their boasting never failed to make him want to both laugh and to shake sense into them. "Only some? Should I worry for what other things you might be filling your house with? Might I open the door for the bathroom and find a basilisk in the shower?" He cocked his head to the side and let a wider smile pull at his lips at the joke. "As long as the shower is clear of snakes and the tea is hot, I'm sure I'll enjoy your renovations. However many you may have."Sometimes, though, the call for being subtle was unnecessary. Such as when dealing with Elroy. While he wouldn't reveal everything there was a certain extent to which he could be fully open. If only because they were both aware of knowledge the other would already be party to. So William only smiled at the man of similar position and glanced back when the door shut, waiting until he heard the faint click before opening his mouth to speak. "I need what we both do. Information." A pause led the wolf to adjust his injured leg, the first of his movements since sitting down in the chair. "You've heard of my alliance with Alpha Greyback, pup of Fenrir. I know enough of him but my knowledge of the current territory dealings is limited. I had hoped your reach might extend so I might glance at at documents pertaining to the current wolves and affairs."

”I’M THE KING! SHOW ME SOME RESPECT!” He couldn’t help but give a little laugh at the joke the wolf had cracked, giving the stereotype he would give of such a Slytherin like Elroy. He would never try to have a basilisk knowing how dangerous they were and that he was not a Parsletounge however he knew a lot about the Chamber of Secrets even hoping to one day be able to visit it. However he did have a picture of a basilisk outline in his house in one of the hallways which he thought was just funny since of what William had said. ”Please William I keep it in my Chamber of Secrets replica in the basement. Yes I’m sure you will once they are done I’ve been very tedious on the details”spoke Elroy with a little grin and laugh as he leaned back in the chair a little as he knew the favor and business part of their meeting was finally coming into play. He nodded at what the man started to say about the wolf pack he had just joined and that he had gained information already. Now he needed more information that Elroy could easily obtain with his credentials of his job. Also he knew someone who kept a copy of the list ‘’unofficially’ ’ironically it was the same secretive lady he had just been thinking of.
He stroked his chin a little bit thinking about if he truly wanted to hand such information over to the man before him. He knew William to an extent but not like friends not enough to truly trust him nor did he with this alpha male he was speaking of. As long as we can keep them in line it’s no harm the thought spilled into his mind pushing his worries back as his curiosity into the translation of the rune. Leaning forward now he nodded to the man in agreement and spoke of his decision to him ”I understand. I can get this information and have you receive a few glances at them if you can translate this of course. The information is not hard to get and I can have by ends day for you”. He waited to see what the man’s response would be his eyes looking at him and back to the book in front of him.

A Slytherin would always be a Slytherin, that much William knew to be true. Especially a Slytherin with a foot hold or more in the Death Eaters. Which is exactly what the man before him was. So William could easily joke about matters with snakes when he knew his neck would not be on the line for it. Besides. A historian such as Elroy would have been interested in the Chambers of Secrets. A thought that was proven true by the man's reply. But all jest and talk of visiting fell aside as they dove into the matters that actually held value. Enough pleasantries had been exchanged that the professor felt they had a successful greeting and he wouldn't need to worry about insult. William kept himself still as he watched the man before him, figuring that the Slytherin was just weighing the importance of sharing information over his own curiosity. He understood the need for hesitancy. After all he held his cards close as well. Counting as well the fact that Elroy and William held no trust between them nor a strong friendship past the exchange of information, yes, he well understood hesitation. Just as he had hesitated with giving his new alpha anything of himself. But he would be a poor adviser if he didn't gather this information and Volka suffered for his lack of knowledge. Even if he went through his other channels to obtain the list, William thought Elroy would be the best source when he wanted the information quickly. A small satisfied smile pulled at the corner of his mouth as the other man leaned forward to speak. William nodded once and sat up straighter in his chair. "I shall have to take your word on the matter then, Elroy. Let me see the text you need translating and I will tell you what it says." With the agreement struck he let his body shift slightly, more stiff and poised than he had been before. A more natural posture for the wolf. He moved to hold out his hand expectantly, smile still on his lips.

”I’M THE KING! SHOW ME SOME RESPECT!” With the pleasantries dealt with and the agreement slowly coming to close it was time for the real business to start, what he had been wanting all night. He had been trying for weeks to decipher the text in the book below he had discovered it in another book but could not remember which book it was. He was sure it was a history of magic book meaning the runes was something in relation over there. It was extremely old he could tell by the way it was written as he took the book and flipped a few pages to show off the full text of the rune for the man before him after he agreed to look at the text again. He knew it was possible for him not to be able to decipher it considering how old it was and whatever other factors affected translating it.
There were words written in the side of the page on the book that gave off his ideas at what the text could mean like: “king or lord”, as well as “chaos?”. He was unsure of the chaos part believing it was too ironic considering his middle name and nickname was chaos. ”It’s rather way to complex and advanced for my tastes. I know you will do your best, and I shall take action on my part to get your information.” he spoke slowly in his calm tone as he took out parchment and a quill and started writing a note requesting the info he needed for William at request as briefing info to Minister. He got up and walked out of the office barely just calling out to an aide for them to take it to the magical creature department head at once. Coming back in, he closed the door again and took a seat behind his desk and looked intently at the wolf before him waiting for his hopeful translation.
