So, plenty of people have probably been wondering what Beauxbatons has been doing during these past three years. They have mostly kept out of the war by not helping the order nor the death eaters. However, they will be contacted by a order member or two about possibly taking in muggleborns into their school to help keep them safe and to ensure they get some education that they are missing from not participating in Hogwarts. If they are to be brought onto the site, they will only take in a few muggleborns per month, so it does not look suspicious to the death eaters. If it is wanted, this plot will expand and eventually Beauxbatons will become an ally to the Order and trust me, they have wanted Hogwarts back to the way it was though they have kept out of the battles for the safety of their students.
This school is unknowingly still associated with the death eaters as it was the home to many of the death eater children for many, many years before the death eaters took over Britain. If this school is introduced, they may side with the Death Eaters and thus add more to their numbers. This school will not admit any muggleborns and will kill them on sight, if they dare to try to enter their school. This school may ultimately have all of its students moved to Hogwarts by the death eaters, who want a school full of pureblood students and may result in the death eaters to start targeting the halfbloods. If Durmstrang is wanted, the plot may eventually expand and result in Durmstrang being a school on the site that we may allow professors, etc at.
What do you guys think? Do you want Durmstrang and Beauxbatons introduced on the site? Would you like the ability to make people from those schools and be able to roleplay at those schools? We are leaving this decision completely up to you guys as we want to see some support for the idea before we introduce it fully on the site or to throw it into the trash can of ideas, if you guys want to stick with just Hogwarts for now.

I am kind of already happy with what we've got; introducing two other schools would actually make a lot of things more complicated, since they are at different places. Unless you plan on bringing them all to England. Plotting-wise, a Beauxbatons student would be very unlikely to interact with a Hogwarts student, Durmstrang students would probably not interact with Hogwarts students, etc etc. And, then there's the problem of having too many of one, or none of one. Then it leads to people ignoring their characters and plots will be too spread out between those three places (not to mention the "adult" version of Wizarding France and Wizarding Norway (or whatever Durmstrang is actually located).) Anyways, it's ultimately up to you guys, but while it sounds "fun," it could really just lead up to a whole lot of complicated-ness. If you really think about it, too, we have a LOT of events, which are supposed to satisfy the many different groups. It's great--but would the introduction of even MORE groups be beneficial, or actually just kind of superfluous? maybe I'm just a stick in the mud.  but those are my concerns. |

A part of me says YES ABSOLUTELY! but what I agree with is Ever's opinion. Not to mention that there are TONS of rps which has multiple schools, making events for them all is extremely difficult. Maybe let the site grow first, see how many Hogwarts students we get, see if we acctually NEED more schools. Because by the looks of it now, Hogwarts could use some students  |

But my answer is a definite and resounding NO. We cannot bring them into this world. As it is we are lacking on member groups we already have and there is a right mass of events and adding to the mess will only create chaos. I think it's a fun idea but in practice it you be a nightmare.
This being said- I think adding them firmly into the information area would be a wise idea for those who aren't potterheads but might want to join.
At most I think we could get away with a foreign exchange program.

I agree with everyone here mainly, while I think it would be a fun thing to have we should focus on the current member groups and Hogwarts getting more students etc. In the future when the site is bigger and Hogwarts seems full than maybe we should think about adding them. Like everyone said it would just be to much chaos and mess to really put it all into effect.
