Antosha & Murtagh
As we discussed Murtagh will one day turn up on Antosha's doorstep with his daughter in his arms asking if they can stop over until she's recovered from her latest seizure. So, I'm thinking that they'd be friends? Murtagh doesn't share the pureblood ideal thing at all - he's actually really proud of his muggle ancestors - but if they kept off that topic I imagine they'd get on fairly well. Plus they'd know each other from death eater meetings and the like. As for the backup plan - Murtagh has a couple in place, some involving him fleeing with his daughter if things go south and others involving just her getting away, so maybe they could get onto that topic somehow?

Hugo & Locryn
Maybe Hugo could patch Locryn up some time and realise that Locryn's been abused by his family in the past? Or Locryn could volunteer to help out in there hospital wing from time to time. Either way could be on friendly terms.
& Murtagh
Maybe Hugo could help provide first aid if Murtagh's daughter injures herself? That'd endear him to Murtagh, who might return the favor if ever called on to do so.

William & Locryn
My personal headcanon is that the first time these two really met, Locryn was doing his pirate impersonation for the benefit of homesick first years XD (He's got a west country accent anyway, if he dials it up a bit and puts a hat on he can do a decent Captain Barbossa.) Anyway. William is both Locryn's head of house and teacher so plenty of opportunities for them to interact and I think they'd get on well. So... maybe William could find out that Locryn's been abused at home in the past and that he's a necromancer? Plus... if William ever really needs a backup place for his muggleborns, Locryn's inherited a place on Bodmin moor that he could maybe use. It's original occupant didn't like the living, so very difficult to find and well defended.
& Murtagh
Old friends from work who are sticking together despite different allegiances and the like coming between them, I believe we said XD

Alastair & Murtagh
Enemies! Murtagh really doesn't have anything against muggles, muggleborns and the like, but he'll toe the Death Eater line because he agreed to it in exchange for having his daughter back, so yeah. Kind of sad, I think they might have got on fairly well otherwise.

Peter & Murtagh
Enemies again, due to their respective positions in the conflict? Could be interesting to see them in action.
& Locryn
So... if Peter's ever somehow in the west country area, maybe he runs into some of the magic/inferi Locryn's ancestors left lying around? Could be interesting.

Eric &

Locryn
So... not sure how these two would meet, seeing as Eric's a Londoner and Locryn's generally in Cornwall when he's not in Hogwarts, but I think Locryn would like Eric at least, even if the witch hunter thing made him a bit nervous. He certainly understands grief and loss, so there's that. Maybe they could meet in a London pub or something, if Eric's got the day off and Locryn's just off the Hogwarts Express and waiting for a coach/train to take him over to Cornwall?
Murtagh
Is probably theoretically the sort of person Eric's meant to be hunting, seeing as Eric's a witch hunter and Murtagh's a death eater? Not sure that Murtagh would dislike Eric, but not sure that they'd be that close either. Similar problem with Locryn though - Murtagh spends most of his time in Ireland and tends to treat London as a transport hub.


Tate &

Locryn
Far as I can make out these two are in the same year at Hogwarts (7th?) so I'm guessing that they'd know each other and could maybe be friends? Or at the least come to some sort of mutually beneficial arrangement. Locryn's trying to keep a lid on his dark arts/necromancy work for as long as possible, Tate's family want him to do dark magic and Tate hates it, maybe Locryn and Tate arrange things so that whatever signs there are of Locryn's magic are attributed to Tate? Plus Locryn would totally encourage Tate to do what he's doing, namely keeping his head down while arranging for an overseas apprenticeship with only vague intentions of maybe coming back to England one day in the distant future if things work out that way.
Murtagh
So. These two. Murtagh's a reluctant death eater, loving father and enthusiastic marine magizoologist, so I'm guessing that they might know each other if they've been hauled along to the same DE social functions? (I can actually very much see them huddling in a corner discussing the giant squid and the evolutionary relationship between sea serpents and dragons on these occasions.) He'd very much support Tate in his attempts to dodge becoming a death eater, maybe by inviting him to stay with him during the holidays under the guise of getting Tate doing work experience with some of the darker sea creatures? Plus he's got an eight year old daughter who'd just love to put ribbons in Tate's hair...


Josh &

Locryn
Pretty much the same issues with Eric geography wise, they're not going to be in the same area that often. That said, maybe Josh ends up on assignment on Bodmin Moor down in Cornwall or something? That's where Locryn lives and his family's left all sorts of nasty stuff hidden in the marshes over the years, so it could be fun to explore that a bit.
Murtagh
I'm guessing enemies? As much as Murtagh's a reluctant death eater he's still a death eater who toes the line, so they'd clash just through allegiances. Could be interesting if Murtagh's daughter gets involved though - maybe she accidentally introduces them when they're both in London somehow and in the interests of her not getting hurt they have to keep a lid on the enmity and actually talk while stuck on the underground or something?
