The Russian man kept his hand on the other's dark mark, an act that was more intimate than resting it anywhere else. Fingertips continued stroking the skin with only the hint of nails. It served to ground the tall man to the discomfort of his partner of the night as well as remind Owen of where they stood. Strong enough to lend aide but not so unforgiving to allow much weakness.
Antosha's eyes narrowed slightly as he listened to the words spilling out of Owen's mouth, fingers not stopping in their caress even with his anger. Right. The fact Owen had a shit for a dad didn't really surprise him but that didn't do anything to stop the anger. Because Owen was his friend and this was just now being brought to his attention. Not to mention the fact it had gone on and he hadn't known. Had no inkling towards what was going on. What else did I miss?"
A few minutes passed as Antosha processed the facts given to him. Hand still on its mission to trace every piece of Owen's mark. Taking a breath to push back any anger he felt the Russian shook his head briefly. "And is still being... a problem?" As Owen sighed and broke their eye contact Ant felt something rush up in his chest. He wouldn't let himself fully care about someone he rolled around the bed with but Owen had been a friend for far longer than they'd had this arrangement. A part of him wanted to rush to protect his friend from whatever it was that caused him to have that worrying look on his face. A smaller part of the Russian, the part that housed the cold blooded Death Eater, wanted to scoff at his fellow D.E. for being weak. Antosha's clear eyes looked down as Owen took in the deep breath, fingertips moving down to stroke the other's dark mark.
Antosha's eyes narrowed slightly as the beast raised its head again. His hand curled until nails rested against the marked skin as he peered into the desperate eyes of Owen. "I be careful." He agreed slowly. Not that he necessarily had to follow whatever he said. He wasn’t taking a wizard’s oath. Whatever it was Owen had to tell him… Antosha knew he’d find a way to take care of it somehow if he needed. He told himself it wasn’t because he wanted to feel like a hero, but he knew that would be a lie. Antosha missed being needed.

His chest rose and fell quickly with his sharp intakes of breath. Antosha was still trying to get his heart to slow down even though it'd been a few minutes since the last wave of their... activities. A sweat slick hand reached out to trace delicate fingers along the exposed and quite beautiful dark mark decorating the flesh of the other occupant of his lavish bed. It was a sight he'd become accustom to after the first incident that led to the fellow Death Eater falling into the confines of his bed. A sight that Antosha couldn't even begin to contemplate complaining about. Even if he didn't know what had sparked the boys sudden admission of attraction.
They'd done this often enough that when Antosha rolled over so he was no longer in danger of suffocating and Owen rest his head on the vampire's chest, Antosha didn't so much as blink in surprise. He just moved his hand up from the dark mark to Owen's short yet soft hair to run his fingers along his scalp. No one could complain that Antosha wasn't incredibly tender towards his lovers. Er, towards his bed occupants. Unless he was bored. Then things might have a habit of getting... Interesting.
Antosha chuckled himself as he looked down at the younger Death Eater. "And yet you can still be talking? I dink vat I not doing job fully well, hmm?" His voice was rough with strain and thick with an almost palpable Russian accent.
The Russian looked down at his friend -one of the first he'd found that he actually enjoyed to be around as much as he liked Volka's attitude- and let out a soft sigh at the face he found. Of course they'd be enjoying the cooling sensation of their drying sweat and Owen would still look as though the world were troubling him. Antosha wondered if they'd have to go again or... Antosha didn't like torture. He didn't like people screaming and writhing by his hand- that is he didn't like it if they were doing so because of pain. The bad kind of- he was getting off track. The moral was that he didn't like torture. He didn't like inflicting it -though he did and he did so well-, he didn't like hearing it -though he stood guard so they couldn't run-, and he really didn't like the idea of cursing random passerbys who weren't of age. So Antosha did what he considered was the best thing that he could in these situations; he shot only killing curses. Frankly he was giving away mercy shots. They'd die quickly and painlessly. No screaming as they were flayed. No crying and begging to be freed from Azkaban. Just sweet release. So he made his way up the floors in a flurry of bolts of green and a lot of fancy foot work that might not have been strictly necessary. He would have kept going up to search for his actual targets when his world became a nice resemblance of a fireball.
The second floor was gone. Or close to gone. It was more an inferno than a floor. Antosha prided himself on being able to escape with only fairly severe burns and a large bleeding gash on arm the was making it impossible to grip his wand, let alone decently spell cast. At least his impure blood would be good to keep himself safe. As long as he could get close enough to actually touch his opponent. Really he shouldn't have been surprised that as he was pondering his options, wand held as steady in his hand as he could manage, he'd run into a young girl -too young, really, they should have made an age barrier to get kids out or something- facing Jackson. And he'd feel bad for the poor girl, what with her young age and all, but his blood was rolling to the floor and his stomach felt like it was still on fire. He didn't say a word to either of them as he stepped further into the room, aiming carefully for the girl even though he knew he probably wouldn't hit. "Sectumsempra."

There was very little that Antosha did for his own enjoyment. Unlike many of the Death Eaters, he got no enjoyment from inflicting torture. No pleasure from leaving insanity in the husks of that which had once been a person. It was too much like a secondary job, a more grueling and tiresome one than working in the Department of Mysteries. At least being an Unspeakable was vaguely enjoyable and if anyone got hurt it wasn’t directly his fault. But these were thoughts that would never see the light of day. Buried beneath a stirring hatred of impurities and a lack of power. Anyway. So when he did have fun there were maybe three activities that he enjoyed; painting, flirting, or staying at home with his family.
He thought that tonight he would at least get to flirt with the slim body bending and turning behind the counter. If he was really lucky they might even do more. A small smile pulled at the tall man’s features as the bartender leaned over, a sudden flux of confidence rolling off the other man almost visibly. Antosha would have wondered where it had come from if he weren’t more interested in keeping the confidence going. His head tilted to the side as he watched pink flush the other’s cheeks.
Well. It had been nice while it lasted.
The smile stayed on Antosha’s face as he watched the confidence fade into a nervous energy, fingers resting against the worn out wood. ”I see someding I like.” He said the line casually and the smile twisted minutely. ”But you meaning just alcohol? Antosha couldn't say he cared one way or another about the half veela co-worker. While on one hand she was a gorgeous woman with hair that he might have killed for if it hadn't been blonde. But on the other hand the fact she was both female and French... Well it just ruined it for him. There was no way he could lust after a female, even if that female happened to be a quite potent female. Anyone with eyes that could still see would know she was a beauty surpassed only by full blooded Veelas.
He listened carefully as she spoke in what he could only find to be an atrocious accent, nodding almost without thought as he made his cup of coffee. Sans creamer and sugar. ”I do vonder if de party in questionable sanity is allowed to vouch stability.” His thick voice churned with amusement as he joked. It was always nice to be able to make a joke even if he didn’t find the company particularly entertaining.
Eyes flicked up at her question and he couldn’t hide the satisfied smirk that pulled at his lips. ”Mine veekend was satisfiable. Much vas done for fun times.” The smirk wouldn’t quite leave his voice either. ”And you, Miss Veela? Antosha liked his job, thank you very much. He liked working where he didn't have to explain his work to anyone or pretend that everything was classified. Just saying he was an Unspeakable was enough to shut up even the most curious of folk, and if that didn't work he never minded throwing a hex to keep their mouth from opening again. What he didn't like, though, was Mondays. After a weekend of drinking, sex, and running around with his various D.E.s the last thing he wants to do what drag his ass out of bed and go to work with only a pepper-up potion and a sobering charm that he convinced a friend to do for his support.
He didn't mind the rain so much since it didn't effect his ability to Apparate nor was he really going to be in it long enough to care. So he headed into the Ministry and went right into the Time Room to begin his long day of work. He didn't really speak to any of his coworkers while they were working. After all he'd see most of them again at a meeting and it wasn't as if he was too interested in talking to the female Veela they had roaming about.
Eventually the excessively tall Russian pushed up his sleeves and left the Time Room so he could fetch a cup of coffee for himself to counteract the failing effects of the pepper-up potion. So he made his way to the break room, nodding briefly as he passed various other coworkers. Once he opened the door he heard the thick French accent that always followed the half veela’s presence. Most likely because she was French, but he’d never really bothered to find out.
”I heard it being dangerous to talk alone. Makes one seem.. unstable.” His own thick accent was near palpable as he crossed the small room to fetch himself a cup of coffee. Black. No cream, no sugar. Just the way he liked it. ”Are you being unstable, Miss Veela?”

Antosha wasn't a frequent patron of Hog's Head, it was much too close to Hogwarts with all its creepy little students running around for him to really like it. But he was becoming a bit too familiar with it's stinking, dirty environment to be truly happy. Of course, then again he came across a reason to come around the hovel more often. That reason was under the Tiberius. The tall Russian had met him almost accidentally when he'd been running in from the rain after having met one of the Professors he knew and ran directly into the smaller bartender.
After that they had talked a few times -as Antosha had purposely come around to chat the male up- and Antosha thought it was near time they talked after hours. So he dressed in a black pressed robe, casual but still had the air of expensive material that came with most pureblood owned things, hair tamed into something that didn't resemble a mane, and his family ring on his finger. All in all, dressed like there was someone he was out to impress. Which wasn't untrue but Antosha would have called it coincidence.
He apparated to the small pub before walking into the dank, musty air filled room that was a bit emptier than usual. Just his luck, really. It meant he could probably weasel Tiberius off the clock faster than a niffle could swipe a piece of gold. Antosha smirked at his inner joke, picking his way through the dirt filled place with care not to let his robes touch anything more than what was strictly necessary. Eventually the pale skinned, excessively tall male was standing before the counter to rap his knuckles against the probably deeply stained surface. ”Excuse, Bartender? Vat does man have be doing to get attention in hovel?” The thick Russian accent was laced with amusement, hanging almost tangibly in the air with no care taken to make his words sound perfectly together or anything.

Meet Catherine, Alastair's eldest and only daughter. She's a 7th year Ravenclaw and sort of embodies the Ravenclaw spirit. Her mother died three years ago during the Hogwarts attack, killed by Death Eaters despite the fact her mother was a halfblood. It was through Catherine's insistence that she's continuing in school because she didn't want to lose any of her valuable learning time. She was well aware of the risk living in the school and hides the fact her father is a muggle. In fact as far as anyone knows, her father died in the Ministry takeover. Catherine is cool and calculating, enjoys knowledge and disapproves of any sort of stupidity.

Antosha Kirillovich Volkov PERSONALITY Antosha isn't what most people would think of when they picture a Death Eater. He isn't a cold hearted psychopath, he doesn't have an incredibly high intellect, he isn't a pureblood. He has cried whenever an animal dies, he has a fondness for cuddling, and more often than not he'll let complete strangers crash on his couch for no greater a reason than they have no where else to go. But make no mistake, Antosha has the superiority complex that is custom for any classic pureblood Death Eater. Except he doesn't think he's superior, he knows he is. After all why would he have to bow to the laws of men that are not magical. Men who cannot bend time nor command a legion of beasts nor turn one thing into another. No, Antosha has no qualms about the fact he is better than the powerless mice running through the world.
Despite that, Antosha maintains a very loose sort of moral system when it comes to what he is or isn't willing to do in order to achieve the world where the powerless know their place. He'll refuse to kill those under 18, he won't torture unless they require information, and he is against raping the weak. But even Antosha acknowledges the fact that blood must be spilled for any war to be won. Lives must be forfeit in order for the righteous to take their destined places. Well, he attempts not to kill or torture unless necessary but the Death Eaters aren't always so keen on his plans.
Antosha does have a life outside of his blood supremacy, though, and to any wizard, wolf, or vampire that knows and befriends him they know he a very amiable person. He goes with the flow for the most part, willing to adjust his schedule with very little notice in order to accommodate his friends. There is very little Antosha is insistent upon -things like bringing a stray home or keeping someone from harm come to mind- but when he does stumble upon something like that he's quite similar to the Juggernaut from X-men in the sense that he'll never stop and never drop the situation until he deems it resolved
Finally, Antosha has the tiniest bit of a hero's complex. It probably stems from the fact he's been the cause of many deaths while he's been a Death Eater. As such he's always trying to shove his nose is in friends' businesses in order to try to help them. He's unable to abandon someone in need, especially if that someone is a wizard (or wolf or vampire). But Antosha doesn't leave his hero-ing to only wizards (or wolves, or vampires) and has butted his nose into the living situation of one or two younger children when they were in danger. Such as helping a young girl get off of a frozen lake because the ice was cracking. HISTORY Antosha originally hailed from Moscow, Russia where he grew up with his twin brother (aptly named Vladimir, as a sort of family joke) and his baby sister Rayne. His bastard vampiric father was never around, having skipped out before the twins had ever been brought to life. His mother had once been a pureblooded witch, loved by her family. But that was before Antosha was born. After she became pregnant she was banished from the family and had to live alone, with her kids, doing Death Eater work in order to protect her children.
So all Antosha grew up knowing was blood purity and that he was better than all the muggles of the world. His brother grew up beside him, drinking in the same values but resenting the whole family for their beliefs. Anyway. Long story short, Antosha became a Death Eater when he came of age. After they'd moved to England so Gaia -his mother- could marry an old family friend and they could have a real family. From this union Antosha gained another family member; Mayu Yoshiko, his second baby sister. |

ANTOSHA AND HADRIAN : Antosha jokes about dogs a lot. I'm surprised no one had killed him yet. But naw, he would mean it in jest. Because Hadrian is much bigger than him and really he likes living.
