location of st. mungo's sixth floor - artefact accidents
description of events these folks fled the second floor just in time and have been battling their way up to the sixth floor. hayley's wand was broken in half and she attempted to use it though it backfired on her, sending her back into a wall. she landed strangely on her arm on the fifth floor, breaking it. she retreated up to the sixth floor in an attempt to get away from some of the death eaters. unfortunately, she has ran into two death eaters on this floor. using her smarts, she has begun using throwing exploding cauldrons at the death eaters due to her lack of a wand. as for jackson, he was hit by a jinx from alixander when he arrived on the scene in the knee thus he is limping around and attempting to avoid the exploding cauldrons. mikah was thrown back during the explosion on the second floor though luckily only gained broken ribs. as for antosha, he was on the second floor and has some burns on his abdomen and a cut on his shoulder to his elbow.
participants & injuries: HAYLEY CARTER - recovering from injuries, breaks her arm trying to help the order JACKSON PAUL FLINT - acl tear in left knee MIKAH DYLLAN LEVENTHAL - broken ribs ANTOSHA KIRILLOVICH VOLKOV - cut from his shoulder to elbow on right side, burns on his abdomen

YOU'RE GONNA CATCH A COLD from the ice inside your soul Panic. That is what she heard when she woke up from a horrible attempt to sleep. The mere idea of something bad happening in this place sent shivers to the girl’s spine. Hayley already felt horrible when she was sent off to god knows where after being beaten and hunted down. Australia wasn’t an option for her anymore, her brother was murdered. Hayley got out of the bed and quickly changed into her jeans and sweater. The sounds weren’t close to her just yet so she had some time to get dressed and make a run for it.
Her green eyes searched for her wand when the door was blasted open. Her eyes widened as she saw people she feared most in her life. Hayley quickly grabbed her wand and made a run for it. Hayley ran into some people and whether they were order members or not, she could care less. It was life or death right now and just when she reached a set of stars she saw people battling one another. The hospital was being terrorized by the death eaters. Why did they have to ruin everything on their paths?
Hayley sighed as she couldn’t see people coming after her at this time. The girl rushed herself up to the fifth floor, every time she looked behind her just in case. The last thing she wants is to be killed in the back. Hayley took a few deep breathes as her condition isn’t as it should be and pushed open the doors that would have led her to the fifth floor. She didn’t need this and she surely didn’t want this to happen to her. All she got was a letter telling her she is special and she can go to a special school and now she is on the run for her little life.
“ Oh holy oreos. “ she said as she faced two scary death eaters right there. How come she could never catch a break in this world. Hayley held out her wand but it was useless… the thing was broken by those bastards before she even ended up in this place. Hayley still wanted to try though. “ Expelli.. oh shit.” The wand backfired and she flew in the air and hit the wall with her back. With a growl she got up on her feet and looked at those death eaters.
There were many things she could hide behind until she cooked up some plan to get her ass to safety. “ You know people.. I really wanted to have a sick day from this. “ she sighed and kicked a table so she could hide behind it. She had no clue what she could do just yet to save her butt from this.

` JACKSON FLINT : shit thought jackson when he was hit by a jinx from alixander warrington. it had been an impact that had caused his knee to feel like hell. he was limping around, having used a healing spell on his knee. before when he had been hit, he had fallen on the knee and had screamed in pain. he wasn't someone to scream in pain, usually it was the other way around. it had pissed him off that he had gotten hit with a jinx. the order members never learned that they could use curses just as easily as the death eaters did. with the healing spell used, he was on his feet though was limping. whatever was wrong with his knee had to wait as a battle was going on. no way was he going to sit it out and he knew he was capable of surviving the battle. what had caught jackson's eye was a red headed girl, who appeared to have trouble with her broken wand. an easy target, but he would take it. she had ran to hide behind a table, coward. he used his wand which had been in his right hand and pointed it at the table. he said, "expelliarmus!" usually it was used for a disarming spell, but it would cause a table to break apart pretty easily and it did in fact hit its target.`ooc notes; <3

Post by ANTOSHA KIRILLOVICH VOLKOV on Jan 24, 2015 3:38:57 GMT
Antosha didn't like torture. He didn't like people screaming and writhing by his hand- that is he didn't like it if they were doing so because of pain. The bad kind of- he was getting off track. The moral was that he didn't like torture. He didn't like inflicting it -though he did and he did so well-, he didn't like hearing it -though he stood guard so they couldn't run-, and he really didn't like the idea of cursing random passerbys who weren't of age. So Antosha did what he considered was the best thing that he could in these situations; he shot only killing curses. Frankly he was giving away mercy shots. They'd die quickly and painlessly. No screaming as they were flayed. No crying and begging to be freed from Azkaban. Just sweet release. So he made his way up the floors in a flurry of bolts of green and a lot of fancy foot work that might not have been strictly necessary. He would have kept going up to search for his actual targets when his world became a nice resemblance of a fireball.
The second floor was gone. Or close to gone. It was more an inferno than a floor. Antosha prided himself on being able to escape with only fairly severe burns and a large bleeding gash on arm the was making it impossible to grip his wand, let alone decently spell cast. At least his impure blood would be good to keep himself safe. As long as he could get close enough to actually touch his opponent. Really he shouldn't have been surprised that as he was pondering his options, wand held as steady in his hand as he could manage, he'd run into a young girl -too young, really, they should have made an age barrier to get kids out or something- facing Jackson. And he'd feel bad for the poor girl, what with her young age and all, but his blood was rolling to the floor and his stomach felt like it was still on fire. He didn't say a word to either of them as he stepped further into the room, aiming carefully for the girl even though he knew he probably wouldn't hit. "Sectumsempra."

mikah never wanted any of this. she was just coming to visit a friend, that was all. a close family friend who'd happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, caught in the fire of death eaters, now put in st. mungos, probably permanently. the situation was not unlike what had happened to her mother, and so mikah couldn't help but feel annoyed as she had walked into the hospital. she didn't belong to a side, but she was definitely not on the one who'd killed her mother. and when the first curse was screamed, she remembered ducking, firing a few disarming spells of her own, and within moments, a full out battle broke out. and she was caught, in the fire, and, just like the two people aforementioned: at the wrong place at the wrong time.
it's been forever since mikah had anything more than a friendly duel, but she knew that this particular duel, if anybody comes up to her, would be deadly. was she scared? fuck, yes. but she didn't have time to be, as she deflected spells time and time again. she hardly had time to utter her own curses, the death eaters? far too good. her talent was at quidditch, and it's been forever since she's had to use magic to defend herself.
still, mik held her own, relying on adrenaline, if nothing else. a curse on the second floor had sent her flying across the room and against the wall, and she was sure she'd heard her ribs crack. she felt lightheaded as she continued to fight, and breathing was a pain. it wasn't the first time she's had to do something with an injury, but she was terrified, and she didn't know which way to go but up. up and up and up, hoping that there would be some sort of back up or order members or law enforcement wizards (did the wizarding world still have that, even??). she didn't want to die tonight, that was for sure. she was just hoping for the best, hoping that there would be help instead of all this chaos. still, at the sixth floor--almost all the way up, now--there were still death eaters. everywhere. she doesn't think she's ever seen so many.
mik caught a flash of red hair, a person ducking behind a fallen table... a wand, death eaters, the curse. she quickly put them together, and, despite the pain in her chest, shouted, "diffindo!" pointing at the ceiling above the death eaters, sending the lights on the ceilings falling down. she was drawing attention to herself, she knew. she could've gotten away, probably, but... she couldn't leave somebody else there, completely helpless. She ran to the table, extended a hand at the young girl. "come on, i got your back," she said. two of them together would be better than fighting alone. though by the looks of her... she was still in hogwarts, if not freshly graduated. great. YOU'RE GONNA CATCH A COLD from the ice inside your soul Hayley wasn't sure how she would do all this now once more. She had been thinking of a solution from behind that table but it came up with nothing but more trouble. As soon as she sat down for a moment to think on how to save her own ass with a broken arm, the table got destroyed. It also launched her to the wall and Hayley could catch herself just so to avoid another spell.
"Really? Can't you guys ever catch a damn break!" the australian girl called out and looked around for any solution possible, if only it mean an escape. Hayley then saw a woman who claimed that she wanted to help her fight. Hayley was too desparate not to accept and looked at the death eaters. " well they won't let us leave this fast. Wait.. I know something. " she spoke, a bit too fast to probably understand.
Hayley ran over to a table full of explosive cauldrons and threw them at the death eaters and kicked the table so the rest would also fall their way. Now it was time to leave. The girl ran back to the woman and grabbed her broken wand. She wasnt going to leave it behind.
Hayley looked at the other woman and hoped that she knew what they could do next. " Okay i'm out of ideas right now. " she spoke her good arm holding onto the broken one. She was running out of options and out of ideas.. but the cauldrons would leave them busy for a while.
