COME LITTLE LIGHT come away to the darkness As Tobias stood there so many things were going through his head... he had made so many bad choices in terms of his relationship with Emma and all he wanted to do was put it all right. Of course he knew that the possibility of that was getting slimmer by the second. He really hadn't expected her to accept the drink, so when she took the bottle and headed for the trash can his eyes widened a bit. "No... em don't... what are you doing?!" he said in a slight state of panic.
That bottle of booze hadn't been cheap and it wasn't even his alcohol... it was his fathers. Of course he knew eventually he would have been found out but now he didn't even have the luxury of saying he'd gotten a nice drink out of it. He accepted the bottle back and laughed a little nervously. "Well thanks Em, was thinking of giving up the booze anyways" he said and then shrugged a little and threw the bottle in the bin. | WORDS: xxx I am so sorry for taking so long! please don't hate me! |

COME LITTLE LIGHT come away to the darkness Tobias hadn't spoken to his big brother for weeks and a three days previous he had received an owl from his mother... asking him to find out what Alix was up to. Of course Toby really didn't like to trick his brother into meeting him just so he could spy and relay back to his mother what was going on in the life of Alixander Warrington. So instead he decided to ignore his mothers owl and decided that he would just meet his brother for a general catch up and conveniently 'forget' to relay information back to their parents.
He had asked Alix to meet him in the three brooms for a drink but he was sure that their meeting really wouldn't last all that long... they never did these days. It seemed that the two of them had drifted even further apart lately due to their different beliefs in how the Wizarding world should be. Toby was firmly still believing in what his parents were telling him whereas Alix had been brave enough to venture away from the concrete beliefs of the Warrington family and go it alone... something that deep down Toby was jealous of.
He walked casually into the three brooms and ordered himself a drink, he then headed on over to his brothers table and sat down. "Hey Alix. How have you been?" he asked casually. | WORDS: xxx SHORT NOTES |

COME LITTLE LIGHT come away to the darkness Toby had known from the moment the word 'hey' left his lips that it was a mistake to be so casual with it. What he had done to Emma had really hurt her and he could see that... he had always been able to see it from the moment that he saw her right after she'd gotten the letter. He was screaming at himself inside his mind and he let out a sigh after she replied with a snappy remark... she was mad, of course she was. He ran a hand through his hair before looking at him again. "Emma... I know what I did was cowardly... nobody deserves what I did to you" he said with regret in his voice.
It was clear from his facial expressions that he really was truly sorry for what he had done but he didn't have the first clue about what he could really do to make emends at this point. He would give his left arm to just have one more day with her like the old days... like they had been before. Everything had been going so well before he screwed it up with that stupid letter. He took another swig of his whiskey before offering the bottle to Emma. "Would you like a drink?" he asked her. | WORDS: xxx SHORT NOTES |

COME LITTLE LIGHT come away to the darkness There wasn't a day go by that Tobias Warrington didn't regret breaking up with Emma Finnigan... the one and only girl that he had ever remotely loved. At the time the idea of commitment to someone else had scared the hell out of him and he had decided to take the easy way out and send the poor girl an owl... with no real explination as to why he was breaking up with her. Of course he couldn't tell her it was because he was falling in love... she would think he was a complete idiot. He shook the thoughts from his mind as he headed towards the death day party with a bottle of his fathers best whiskey that he had stolen from the liquor cabinet last time he had visited his parents.
He was feeling adventurous as he opened the bottle of whiskey and took a swig neat from the bottle and smirked, darn that stuff was certainly good. His eyes drifted around the crowds of people and he suddenly spotted her... the girl of his dreams and before he knew it he was heading on over to speak to her. He knew he had to do it now while he was full of the dutch courage. "Emma... hey" he said, suddenly feeling very vulnerable indeed. | WORDS: xxx SHORT NOTES |

We want to help protect Hogwarts and the rest of the Wizarding world and students sneaking around isn't going to do us any favours in the long run" she said softly before removing her hand from his shoulder and then she spotted Alexandra, a young girl that she recognized as a Hufflepuff student before the school was forced to let the muggle born witches and wizards go. She let out a sigh before sitting down on one of the chairs and looking at the cluster of people that were standing there before her.
She ran a hand through her hair before standing up once more, her thoughts collecting in her mind as she stood there trying to think of the best solution to the problem that they were having. "If you are to be attending these meetings on a regular basis... I suppose it would be safer if I were to oversee the happenings... rather than you just taking a risk. At least I will be able to get you out and back in again safely without much trouble. I have one condition to this gesture and that is that you do not tell anyone else about what I am doing for you. It must stay a secret" She said and then looked over at James. "So cousin. What was the plan of talk this evening? Do we have an agenda?" she asked before sitting down once again. After a few moments, as if it came out of nowhere a large glass of water floated over to Victoire and hovered there waiting for her to take it in her hands and sip. She then did so and waited to see what others had to say on the matter. |
