 He could feel the older man's fingers upon his wrist. Right where his dark mark was, Fingers that were soon replaced by nails. A reminder coming to him of the fact that although Ant cared about him, that they were in positions of power. That weakness was not tolerated amongst their kind, and that they weren't defenceless. They were strong. The eighteen year old took solace in Ant's actions. It gave him not only comfort in the form of a promise that the man would be careful, but also in the delicate touch against his wrist, but it also gave him strength. Strength in the form of her nails against his mark.
"My father is rather abusive. Has been ever since my sister died really and eventually... I just broke... I didn't know what way was up or what way to go. It was around the time that we... well.. around the time that this," he indicated to the room all around them. "All started. He didn't know what it was about that Russian accent, but it made him feel accepted. Acepted for the person he was rather than who his father had forced him to become since the death of his sister. It was rather welcoming and quite a relief to have such a thing. A thing that made him feel at home. Together they chuckled as they poked fun. That was the sort of fun they had. They poked fun at each other and when one needed to unwind the other was only too willing to help him out.It didn't take Ant long to notice that something was wrong, however, soon enough he asked Owen if he needed to say something. Of course that did nothing but make that debate that much more demanding. That much more urgent. He sighed, breaking eye contact, as he ran a hand through his hair. Ant was older than him. Of course he was, but that didn't mean that he was able to protect himself from his father's abusive behavior. Ant was his closest friend. His link to humanity. His link to sanity and the outside world. With one more deep breath he looked up at Antosha again."If I tell you, you have to promise me that you'll be careful. That you will watch your step whenever you are around my family. I know it sounds stupid and silly, but I just need you to do it."Ant would be able to see the desperation in his eyes. The need to have at least that piece of the puzzle. That reassurance that he'd avoid interacting with the remains of his family. A reassurance that would allow him to spill the beans about what had caused the change of heart that had lead to the change in their relationship. |

Sweat clung to the teenager’s body. There was no shirt to cover his sweaty chest, or the Dark mark displayed proudly upon his left arm. His chest falling and rising rapidly despite the fact that he had the less… athletic… portion of their bout of amusement. He lay upon Ant’s four poster bed. Within the familiar confines of the vampire’s room. It wasn’t the first time this man had been here. In fact he had come here once in his sixth year. When he couldn’t handle the pressure that his father was putting him under. He yawned as he placed his head upon Ant’s chest. He didn’t know why, but it was the sound of a beating heart which soothed him. Calmed him. It was probably a reference to the loss of his mother at a young and vulnerable age. But he didn’t mind. Ant had been the one to allow him to embrace his sexuality. To have been patient enough to finally allow him to relax and let his thoughts… his emotions towards men take control.
“Well that certainly was entertaining!”He chuckled slightly as he looked back at Ant. He had always been there. Like a best friend would. But there was something that even the other man didn’t know about his childhood. Something that Owen was still reluctant to tell him simply due to the risk that it would put him in should his father find out. After all. His father was the reason as to why he is the man that he is. His father was the reason he had sought to get the Dark Mark engraved upon his arm. |

GAH! Filthy halfbreed! Who did he think he was?! Grabbing him like that! He made a mental note to deal with that stupid tainted son of a female dog whom decided to trip him up. But at this point in time there was one priority. The priority of the stupid Potter girl whom he had been in a fierce duel with among those unfortionate tainted bastards. He winced and swore however as the stupid red haired girl's jinx caught him.

maybe you could do some sort of thread roulette too? People can sign characters up for it. And then everyone is randomized into a group or pair and then given a situation to rp.
EG.
Harry can thread with Voldemort with a thread topic of say... teenage pregnancy
that sort of thing which could inspire more plots between people who usually wouldn't thread together.

Instead an instinct to explore his surroundings had taken over him. Urging him to slide out of bed and explore his new home despite being dressed in the wolf onsie that he had found left upon the end of his bed upon his eleventh birthday. You see this boy was a son of Fenrir Greyback, and the very onsie he wore was the sole contact that the child had had with his father since he had gotten his way with his mother upon her very drunken Hen's night.
The boy moved through the Forrest, his Sycamore wand in an easy to grab place as he moved. He had heard rumours about this place after all and one could not be too careful around these parts! But then suddenly he heard something in the distance. It was a weird noise. Like a crunch in the distance. Was it leaves? Or was it something with a thirst for blood?
"Hello?"
Fear laced the boy's words. When he had entered the woods earlier that night, not a single back thought had entered his mind. Not one single doubt as to whether he really should be doing this.. But now, it overcame the young boy. As he pulled out his werewolf fang and unicorn tail hair wand and pointed it in the direction of the sound, his hand shook. He tried not to show his fear upon his face like his father step-father had taught him to do so long ago, but he had never quite mastered the art, the fear being plain as day within his eyes.
