Not Always a Battle : So I know this is a dark world we live in now and everything, but I feel that it doesn't ALWAYS have to be that. Especially at Hogwarts. So how about the school hosts a Yule Ball? Attendents would be all the students and most of the staff. Staff could bring partners/lovers that they have for this one time thing. ((Death Eaters are having a meeting and using the Ball to keep the students busy... The Order members use this opportunity to find out just how good the security is from the inside.))
New Blood : This is for Death Eaters. Specifically any Death Eater kids and younger potentials that haven't gotten their Dark Mark. This would be a ceremony where all the initiates get the Mark. There'd be a party with lots of drinking and good nature-d torturing!
The Hunt : A super special detention. All the troublemakers in Hogwarts get sent into the woods during a full moon. Death Eaters guard the boundaries, wolves run free in the wolves. Some kids die, some kids get turned. Maybe the Order might show up to try and save some.

I love the idea of Witch Hunters being bamfs and bombing the Ministry.
Also, the Yule Ball or some sort of dance. Maybe a masquerade around Halloween? That can always get... scandalous.
Valentine's Day is coming up (oh joy!) so what about some sort of match maker thing? Pair two characters up and throw them in a thread together, doesn't have to be romantic.

maybe you could do some sort of thread roulette too? People can sign characters up for it. And then everyone is randomized into a group or pair and then given a situation to rp.
EG.
Harry can thread with Voldemort with a thread topic of say... teenage pregnancy
that sort of thing which could inspire more plots between people who usually wouldn't thread together.

So the Yule Ball and the Valentine's Day roulette sound like amazing ideas.
Hogwarts is known to have ghosts happily roaming the school...yet Nick want's to join the "Headless Hunt" which means obviously there are ghosts in many more places. So I was thinking...what if a spell goes terribly wrong (or right depending on the people casting it) And hundred's of ghosts are drawn into one area. (Mainly being restless spirits with a thing or two on their minds that they need to get off their chests so they can RIP) Let's say a place like....Hogsmeade for example.
We could have all these character bump into someone and relive past memories...reminisce....finally let someone go...or even better bring up long lost secrets that were cleverly hidden away. I think it would thicken plots and bring out crazy drama in the lives of many. Harry Potter himself can even show up for this!!
I know the idea is insane...but it sounds fun to me lol.

Maybe the muggle minister can create a special force to help track down wizards and figure up what they are up to... what their weaknesses and stuff are... now that Death Eaters are back in control i doubt the ministry of magic is making any contact (at least positive contact) with the muggle minister.

The yule ball sounds great but ehh maybe its just me but don't yule balls require students from other schools? if so i think we should maybe consider 2 more schools?
And if you do that than a triwizard tournament would also be epic... Maybe a huge Quidditch event like the fourth book?
