OWL grade claims

Achieving Owls

here you may enter in your student's owl grades. keep in mind, students take their owls at the end of their fifth year, so the only students that may claim grades here are in their 6th or 7th year. if you have a student that is in their fifth year, they will earn grades based on the number of posts that you make on the site on their account. at the end of the school year, the staff will pm you with how many Os, Es, As, Ps, Ds, and Ts that your student has achieved. you will then be able to claim your grades here and choose what grade that they got for each subject. we will pm you when the site is in april to let you know how many posts are required to achieve certain grades. if your student is already a 6th or 7th year, their scores are entirely up to you though there are requirements to follow. required owl grades are classes that your student was required to have taken from their first year to their fifth year. optional owl grades are classes that your student was not required to have taken up to their fifth year. the maximum amount of optional owl grades that your student can have is 2. keep in mind, in order for your student to enter a NEWT level class, they must have achieved a 'E' in the desired subject. your student will also not achieve a O in every subject, so do not choose to say they achieved a O for every subject.

o - outstanding
e - exceeds expectations
a - acceptable
failing

d - dreadful
